Parts of TM Controller
The TM controller has the following components:
- 1. Control Panel: Main interface for settings and display.
- 2. Shutter Release Button: Press to trigger the camera shutter.
- 3. LED Light / Lock Button: Controls the panel LED light and enables/disables button lock.
- 4. Arrow Button: Used to navigate menus and adjust settings.
- 5. Release Lamp: Indicates when the shutter is released.
- 6. Timer Start/Stop Button: Starts or stops the timer function.
- 7. SET Button: Confirms settings and enters sub-menus.
TM Controller Display
The display shows various indicators and settings:
- 8. Selection cursor: Highlights the current selection on the display.
- 9. Timer Display: Shows the set time or countdown.
- 10. LOCK indicator: Shows when the button lock is active.
- 11. Low power indicator: Alerts when batteries are low.
- 12. Timer Active indicator: Flashes when the timer function is running.
- 13. Speaker ON/OFF: Indicates the status of audible feedback.
- 14. SET indicator: Shows when the SET button is active or settings are being confirmed.
- 15. RELEASE indicator: Flashes when the shutter is released.
- 16. Number of shots: Displays the remaining number of shots.
For Your Safety

Replacing Batteries
The controller requires two AAA batteries.
- Turn OFF the TM controller.
- Turn OFF the Camera and Disconnect the TM controller.
- Remove the old batteries (AAA 1.5V or LR03 Alkaline batteries).
- Insert two fresh batteries.
Connecting the TM Controller
- Turn the camera and TM controller OFF.
- Remove the remote socket cover from the camera.
- Connect the plug to the remote socket on the camera.
- Turn the camera and TM controller ON.
- You can now start programming the function and enjoy the timer trigger.
Disconnecting the TM Controller
- Turn the camera and TM controller OFF.
- Disconnect the plug from the camera body.
- Replace the remote socket cover.
Automatic Function Description
The Automatic Timer Function allows you to choose Delay / Self Timer (DE), BULB/Long Exposure (BU), Interval Timer (INT), and the number of shots for timed interval photography (Exposure Count (N)).
1. Camera Setting
a) Connect the TM controller to the camera and turn ON.
b) Adjust the camera settings:

2. Set TIMER
Press the SET button (7). The SET icon will flash in the Control Panel (1). Adjust the following settings:

Timing Diagram Explanation
The diagram illustrates the timing sequence for Delay (DE), Exposure/BULB (BU), and Interval (INT) settings. It shows the shutter opening and closing, with periods for Delay, Exposure time, and Interval between shots. The sequence ends after the 'nth frame' is captured.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure the Interval time is longer than Exposure time by at least 2 seconds.
Setting the Timer
Use the arrow button to set the timer. Press left or right to select, up or down to change. The current selection is indicated by the selection cursor.
Press the SET button at any time to complete the operation and display the new setting for the selected item. To view other settings, press the ARROW button left or right. The current selection is indicated by the selection cursor. Press the SET button to edit the current setting as described above.
1. Delay/Self Timer (Time until shooting starts)
Adjust Hours, Minutes, and Seconds using the arrow buttons. Press SET to confirm.
2. BULB/Long Exposure (Exposure Time)
Adjust Hours, Minutes, and Seconds for exposure time. Press SET to confirm.
3. Interval Timer (INT)
Adjust Hours, Minutes, and Seconds for the interval between shots. Press SET to confirm.
4. Number of Shots (N)
Set the number of shots. Use arrow buttons to select the desired number (e.g., 399) or select unlimited. Press SET to confirm.
Speaker
The speaker icon (?) indicates the speaker status. When ON, it provides audible feedback.
Operational Notes:
To ensure correct operation, choose an interval at least two seconds longer than the exposure time. When using autofocus, set the delay to two seconds or more and choose an interval at least two seconds longer than the exposure time to ensure the camera has time to focus. When using long exposure noise reduction, the interval should be at least twice the exposure time.
Intervals of 00:00:00 will automatically be reset to 00:00:01 when the SET button is pressed to put settings into effect.
To set the number of shots to unlimited, select 1 and press the arrow button down, or select 399 and press the arrow button up.
After adjusting all settings, press the SET button to enable them. A beep will sound (if the speaker is ON) and the “SET” icon indicator will go out.
Start the Timer
Press the START/STOP button. The timer will start and “TIMER ACTIVE” will flash in the control panel.
Between shots, the control panel will show the time remaining until the next photograph is taken. If the speaker is ON, a beep will sound three times at ONE-SECOND intervals before the shutter opens.
While the shutter is opened, the control panel will show the time remaining until the shutter closes, and the release lamp (?) and “RELEASE” indicator will flash at ONE-SECOND intervals. The number of shots remaining will be updated each time a photograph is taken.
Control Panel Indicators:
- 1. TIMER ACTIVE: Flashes while the timer is active.
- 2. Time Remaining: Shows time until next shot (between shots) or time until shutter closes (while shutter is open).
- 3. Number of shots remaining: Displays the count of remaining shots.
- 4. RELEASE: Flashes while the shutter is open.
The Speaker and Release Lamp
The speaker (?) will sound, and the release lamp (?) will flash with a delay of 5s, exposure time of 4s, and an interval of 9s, as illustrated.
Timing Illustration
The diagram shows a timeline from 1 to 25 seconds. 'Shutter open' is indicated by a filled circle, and 'Shutter closed' by an empty circle. The sequence depicts periods of delay, exposure, and interval between shots, demonstrating the timing of shutter actions, beep sounds, and release lamp flashes.
End Shooting
Shooting ends automatically when the selected number of shots has been taken. To end shooting before all photographs have been taken, press the START/STOP button.

To take photographs at the shutter speed selected with the camera, adjust settings as follows:

*When using autofocus, please choose an interval at least two seconds longer than the camera shutter speed to allow the camera time to focus. When using long exposure noise reduction, choose an interval at least double the camera shutter speed.
Manual Function Description
Adjust Camera Settings
- Turn OFF the TM controller. Remove the remote socket cover from the camera.
- Connect the TM controller to the camera and turn the camera ON. Select the M function and choose BULB of the camera.
- Half press the shutter button for focus.
- Fully press the shutter button to release the shutter.
- Slide the shutter button to the HOLD position. The camera locks the shutter.
- Slide it in the opposite direction to release the lock.
- Release the button to end shooting.
LED Light / Lock Button
Press the LED Light / Lock Button for 1 second to turn on the LED lamp of the control panel.
Press the LED Light / Lock Button for 2 seconds to enable the Button Lock.
Press the LED Light / Lock Button for 2 seconds to disable the Button Lock.
