Verizon Broadband+
General Terms
This document details the terms and conditions for Verizon's Broadband+ service. It covers various aspects of the service, from definitions and features to customer responsibilities and financial terms.
1. General
- 1.1 Service Definition: Broadband+ utilizes public internet protocol (IP) for transport from Customer Sites to Verizon's and/or Third Party network services via various broadband access technologies. Verizon may provision Broadband directly, through third parties, or as an agent for third parties. Broadband must be used in conjunction with a Verizon or Third Party-provided global network service and cannot be used solely for internet access.
- 1.2 Standard Service Features:
- 1.2.1 IP Addresses: A suitable number of dynamic or static IP addresses (IPv4 protocol) will be assigned.
- 1.2.2 Service Equipment: Service Equipment may be connected via an Ethernet interface. Customers are responsible for the care, safety, and prompt reporting of any damage, fault, loss, or theft of the Service Equipment.
- 1.2.3 Broadband Technology: Services are based on various technologies including copper, wireless, fiber, satellite, or cable, with quality varying based on the technology and third-party providers.
- 1.2.4 LTE Business Internet: Provided by MCI Communications Services LLC dba Verizon Business Services, this service is restricted to the Verizon Wireless 5G Nationwide® network and 4G network.
- 1.2.5 5G Business Internet: Also provided by MCI Communications Services LLC, this service is restricted to the Verizon Wireless 5G Ultra-Wide Band (C-Band) network and requires compatible customer-provided or Verizon-provided equipment.
- 1.3 Optional Service Features:
- 1.3.1 IP Address Blocks: Additional IP address blocks may be available with potential justification requirements.
- 1.3.2 Service Equipment upgrades: Upgraded or additional equipment may be available for an additional fee.
- 1.4 Customer Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for providing necessary compatible equipment, assessing space and capacity needs, and complying with Verizon's instructions for service integrity.
Supplemental Terms for Third Party Services
- 2.1 Third Party End User Agreement: When Verizon acts as an agent for a third party, the acceptance of a Service Order constitutes a contract with the third-party provider.
- 2.2 Technical Feasibility and Broadband Availability: A technical feasibility check may be conducted, and availability may not be definitively determined until installation.
- 2.3 Special Construction: If special construction services are needed, Verizon will notify the Customer of any associated charges.
- 2.4 No Control and No Warranty: Verizon exercises no control over third-party providers and does not resolve performance issues related to third-party broadband.
- 2.5 Support: Verizon's helpdesk will relay information between the customer and the third party for issues.
- 2.6 Termination: Verizon may terminate Broadband service upon reasonable notice if it is cancelled or no longer offered by the third party.
Other Supplemental Terms
- 3.1 Wireless Services: Terms apply to Verizon as a reseller or agent for third parties, Wireless Service, and LTE Business Internet.
- 3.1.1 Wireless Service Availability: Subject to limitations, interruptions, and dropped calls due to various conditions. Service is only available within applicable coverage areas.
- 3.1.2 Enhancement of Wireless Service: Customer must obtain Verizon's written approval before installing enhancement equipment.
- 3.1.3 Use of Wireless Service and CPE; MTNs; SIMs: Service must be used for connecting to the Verizon network or the Internet. Prohibited uses include illegal activities and those adversely impacting the network. Customers are responsible for data compliance and must not use applications for protected health information (PHI).
- 3.1.4 Limitation of Liability – 911 Calls: Verizon is not liable for the use or inability to access life support or emergency services.
- 3.1.5 Other Terms: Certain uses are not permitted, including data sharing, high bandwidth constant bit rate (CBR) applications, and international roaming.
- 3.1.6 Wireless Connections: Customers are billed monthly and responsible for all fees, charges, taxes, and surcharges. Overage usage is rounded up to the next full GB.
- 3.1.7 Wireless Connection - Upgrades: Upgrades to data plans will be prorated.
- 3.2 Security: Customers are solely responsible for the security of their network and traffic.
- 3.3 Speeds: Quoted transmission speeds are under ideal conditions and may be lower due to various factors like network congestion.
- 3.4 U.S. Services for Mass Market Customers: Information regarding Network Management Practices and Service Performance is available at https://www.verizon.com/about/our-company/open-internet-.
- 3.5 Delays in Installation: Verizon reserves the right to terminate orders if a revised installation date cannot be agreed upon.
- 3.6 VoIP Restrictions: Customers must comply with local regulations for VoIP transmissions.
- 3.7 Turkey Use Prohibition: Use of the public internet in Turkey requires the exclusive use of a locally licensed internet service provider.
- 3.8 Service in India:
- 3.8.1 No Internet Telephony in India: Verizon's license restricts the use of Broadband Service for Internet telephony.
- 3.8.2 Restriction on Encryption Functionality in India: Use of encryption is governed by government policy.
- 3.8.3 End User Identification in India: Customers may be required to identify end users for monitoring purposes.
- 3.8.4 Additional Documentation in India: Customers must complete and sign an Inspection Pro Forma.
- 3.8.5 Usage: Customers warrant compliance with regulatory requirements for OSPs.
- 3.8.6 Toll Bypass: Parties will not use Broadband to bypass international/long distance charges.
Service Level Agreement

Financial Terms
- 5.1 Details: Customers will pay monthly recurring charges (MRCs) and non-recurring charges (NRCs) as specified. Additional MRCs for optional features may apply.
- 5.2 Administrative Charges: Specific administrative NRCs are applicable, quoted in United States dollars.
- 5.3 Return of Service Equipment: Customers must return Service Equipment within 10 business days of service termination or end of term. Failure to do so may result in charges.
- 5.4 Early Termination: If Broadband is terminated by Customer without Cause, Customer will pay up to the full amount of remaining payments.
- 5.5 Volume Commitments and Third Party Services: Charges for third-party services do not apply to Volume Commitments.
- 5.6 Appointment Charge: A missed appointment charge may apply if the customer misses a technician appointment or fails to prepare the premise.
