This document provides installation guidance for Danfoss Heavy Duty Pressure Switches, specifically the MBC 5000 and MBC 5100 series.

Electrical Connection
The pressure switch has three electrical connection terminals:
- Terminal 1: Input
- Terminal 2: Normally closed (NC)
- Terminal 3: Normally open (NO)
Important Note: Use only the accompanying plug for electrical connections, even when replacing components. Ensure the plug is securely connected to the pressure switch enclosure.

Mounting and Pressure Connection
Mounting Recommendations:
In environments with significant vibrations, such as those found near fast-running engines or gears, Danfoss recommends mounting the pressure switch on a heavy, solid base, like the engine frame. It is also strongly advised to secure the inlet pressure tube to the same solid base to prevent vibrations of the tube.
Pressure Connection Details:
The pressure connection is typically a G 1/4 thread. The diagram shows the dimensions for mounting and pressure connection, including details for the thread size and port.

Setting Screw Adjustment:
One full turn (360°) of the MBC setting screw corresponds to approximately 7% of the full setting range.
