Important Safety Warnings
WARNING: Read and follow all warnings and instructions. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.
- Use only with specified Evenflo car seats.
- Never leave a child unattended; always keep them in view.
- Adult assembly is required. Handle small parts with care.
- Remove and discard all packing materials before use to prevent choking hazards.
- Always use the waist restraint and ensure the child is properly secured.
- Do not carry or roll the stroller on stairs or escalators with a child inside.
- Do not hang items on the handle bar or canopy, as this can cause the stroller to tip over.
- Ensure the stroller is fully assembled and locked in the unfolded position before use.
- Exercise caution on curbs or steps; push at a normal walking pace.
- Do not place hot liquids in the cup holder.
- Do not raise or recline the seat with a child in the stroller to prevent serious injury from falling out.
- Do not use if parts are missing or broken.
- Do not allow children to climb on, into, out of, or around the stroller.
- Do not allow children to stand on the footrest, as this can cause the stroller to tip.
- Do not carry additional children, goods, or accessories beyond specified limits.
- Be careful to prevent finger injury in hinge areas during folding/unfolding. Ensure no child is in or near the stroller.
- Never leave the stroller on an incline, even with brakes engaged.
- Always set the brakes when the stroller is not being pushed.
- AVOID STRANGULATION: Do not suspend strings or toys from the canopy. Keep the stroller away from cords (blinds, draperies, phones, etc.). Do not place items with strings around a child's neck.
- Ensure all of the child's body parts are clear of any moving parts when making adjustments.
- The canopy does not provide UV protection.
- Sharp or heavy objects in pockets can cause damage or injury.
- Refer to infant car seat manufacturer's instructions for proper use.
- Do not lift the stroller by the infant car seat handle when installed.
- Contact Evenflo ParentLink if the infant car seat cannot be securely attached.
- To prevent instability, do not load cup holder with over 1 lb (0.45 kg) or main cargo basket with over 10 lbs (4.5 kg).
- Never use the toddler seat without the canopy attached.
- Never lift or carry the toddler seat by the armbar.
- Never use the stroller frame without a seat attached.
- Never use the toddler seat in a motor vehicle or as a booster seat.
- Never remove the toddler seat with a child in it.
- Ensure the toddler seat or car seat is securely attached before placing a child in it.
- Infant mode is intended for children up to 6 months of age.
- Ensure straps are unbuckled for infant mode.
- Do not exceed maximum weight limits for car seats or accessories.
- Do not use harness covers from the stroller in the infant car seat.
Child Requirements
Infant Mode: Intended for children up to 6 months of age. The child must be able to sit upright unassisted. The stroller must be in the upright position.

Assembly Instructions
General Note: Read all instructions carefully before assembly. Save for future reference. If parts are missing, contact Evenflo ParentLink at 1-800-233-2229.
Frame Assembly
- Place a protective covering (e.g., carton) on the floor to protect it during assembly.
- Unlatch the side frame lock. Keep it open while unfolding.
- Grab the parent's handle and pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click.
- Push down on the parent's handle to ensure the stroller is locked in the open position.
Wheel Attachment
- Front Wheels: Turn the stroller so the front faces upwards. Align the metal pin of the front wheel with the hole in the front wheel mount. Push onto the frame until it clicks. Pull on the wheels to confirm they are securely attached.
- Rear Wheels: Turn the stroller upside down. Push the rear wheel onto the rear leg tube until it clicks. Repeat for the other side. Pull on the wheels to confirm secure attachment.
- To remove wheels: Insert a flat tool into the slot and pull the wheel off.
Toddler Seat Mode Setup
- Flip the toddler seat over and attach the seat buckles as shown.
- Slide the toddler seat onto the frame mounts until it clicks into place. The seat can be attached forward-facing or rear-facing.
- Pull up on the seat to ensure it is securely attached to the mounts.
Bumper Bar and Cupholder Attachment
- Bumper Bar: Push the tabs into the stroller openings until they click and lock into place. Pull on the bumper bar to ensure it is locked.
- Cupholder: Slide the cupholder down onto the mount on the side of the frame.
Using Your Stroller
Footrest Adjustment
To adjust the footrest, push both buttons and move the footrest up or down to the desired position.
Brakes
WARNING: Always lock brakes. Test by trying to push the stroller.
- To Lock: Push the brake lever down at the BOTTOM on each side until it clicks.
- To Unlock: Push the brake lever down at the TOP on each side until it clicks.
Canopy
- To Extend: Pull the canopy forward.
- To Close: Push the canopy toward the parent's handle.
- Window Panel: Open or close the window panel as shown.
- To Remove Canopy: Unfasten canopy mounts from the sides, unfasten Velcro® on the rear of the seat, and pull the fabric off the handle. Reverse steps to re-attach.
Reclining Seat
WARNING: Do not raise or recline the seat with a child in the stroller.
To recline the toddler seat, lift the handle at the top of the seat and rotate the seat into one of 3 positions.
Removing the Toddler Seat
Push in the buttons on both sides of the seat and lift the seat up.
Harness Adjustment
WARNING: Always use waist restraint to avoid falling or sliding out.
- To Attach Harness: Click buckles into the crotch strap buckle. Pull waist straps to tighten. Shoulder straps should be at shoulder height or lower.
- To Adjust Strap Height: Remove harness covers, undo Velcro®, and release elastic. Adjust strap height and tighten by pulling down on the free end.
- To Loosen Straps: Push up on the retainer and pull the shoulder strap down. Replace harness covers.
- To Adjust Crotch Strap: Pull straps to tighten; loosen by adjusting the crotch buckle.
- To Unlock Harness: Push the button on the crotch buckle.
Setting Up in Infant Mode
WARNING: Never use the seat in infant mode unless straps are unbuckled and seat is set up per instructions.
- Unfasten the buckles behind the leg rest on the toddler seat. THE BUCKLES MUST BE UNFASTENED before placing a child in the seating area.
- When in infant mode, the footrest MUST be in the horizontal position.
- Lift the handle up and rotate the seat down.
- Press down on the inside of the toddler seat to flatten it.
Reversing Seat Position
WARNING: Never lift or carry the toddler seat by the bumper bar or with a child in it.
- To remove and use in rear-facing mode: Push the release buttons on both sides of the toddler seat. Lift the seat off the stroller frame, turn it around, and re-attach.
- Check for secure attachment by pulling up on the seat.
Folding the Stroller
WARNING: Be careful to prevent finger injury in hinge areas.
- The stroller will not fold if the toddler seat is rear-facing. Adjust seat to upright, lock rear brakes, close canopy, and remove child.
- Pull triggers on both sides of the stroller, lower the frame until the side frame lock clicks.
- For a more compact fold, fold the footrest down. The toddler seat can also be removed.
- NEVER fold the stroller when the toddler seat is in infant mode.
- Rotate the handle down until the side frame lock closes. You may need to push the stroller together to fully lock it.
- Double-check that the side frame lock is securely closed. Ensure front wheels face forward for the folded stroller to stand upright.
Unfolding the Stroller
- Unlatch the side frame lock. Keep it open while unfolding.
- Grab the parent's handle and pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click.
- Push down on the parent's handle to ensure it locks in the open position.
Using with Recommended Infant Car Seats
WARNING: Only use specified Evenflo car seats. Read car seat instructions. Ensure secure attachment.
- To Attach Infant Car Seat: Remove toddler seat if attached. Line up the hub of the car seat handle with the seat mounts. Insert the car seat into the mounts until it clicks on both sides. Lift up on the car seat to ensure it is securely attached. The car seat can be installed rear-facing or forward-facing. Pull up on the handle to test proper locking.
- Checklist: Ensure car seat is securely locked into mounts. Pull up on handle to test.
- To Remove Infant Car Seat: Lock brakes. Pull the release handle with one hand while lifting up on the carry handle with the other hand.
Shyft Use Configurations
WARNING: Never use the stroller in configurations not shown in this manual. Do not exceed weight limits.
Refer to manuals for optional accessories like car seat adapters or a Rider Board for additional configurations.
Care and Maintenance
Regular maintenance is important to keep the stroller in good condition. Check hinges and folding areas periodically.
- Fabric Materials: Wipe with cold water and mild detergent. Do not use solvents, caustic, or abrasive cleaners. Never use chlorine bleach.
- Plastic/Metal Parts: Wipe clean with mild soap and warm water. Do not dismantle or alter parts. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Never use bleach.
- Wheel Care: Clean with a damp cloth and dry completely with a soft towel.
- Storage: Before storing, check for damage. Store indoors to prevent fading and drying out. Ensure the stroller is dry. Store in a safe, dry environment away from direct heat. Open canopy to dry to prevent mildew. Do not place heavy objects on the stroller.
Warranty Information
Evenflo Gold Lifetime Warranty: Covers material irregularity for the life of the product for the original registered purchaser. Options for repair or replacement. Proof of registration or purchase required.
Stroller Warranty: Frame warranted for the life of the stroller (until child reaches max weight). Soft goods and other components warranted for one year from date of purchase.
Car Seat Warranty: Warranted for the life of the car seat against manufacturing irregularities.
Warranty Exclusions: Misuse, poor maintenance, corrosion, sun damage, improper assembly, accident, abuse, commercial use, improper storage, second-hand use, airline/freight damage.
