First Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to pair your JLab Epic Executive earbuds with your device.
Step 1: Enable Bluetooth
Turn on Bluetooth in your device's settings.

Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the button on the earbud for 10 seconds. Release. The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating pairing mode.

Step 3: Connect to Your Device
In your device's Bluetooth settings, select 'JLab Epic' to connect. When Bluetooth pairing is successful, the indicator light will slowly flash blue.

Frequent Use: Once the JLab Epic Executive is paired with your device, the earbuds will automatically connect to your Bluetooth device upon powering on.
Button Functions
- Power On/Off: Long press for 3 seconds.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Long press for 10 seconds (refer to First Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing instructions).
- Play/Pause/Answer/End Call: Short press.
- Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (ANDROID): Double tap.
- Volume Down: Short press.
- Previous Track: Long press for 2 seconds.
- Volume Up: Short press.
- Next Track: Long press for 2 seconds.
Voice Prompts
- Power On: Beep.
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps.
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (below 20%).
- Power Off: Beep.
Noise Cancellation Function
- Turn On/Off: Short press (Green light illuminates when active).
- Note: Be sure to turn off noise cancellation when not in use.
Charging
Step 1: Connect to Power
Insert the USB cable into a charging source and connect the Micro USB to the JLab Epic Executive port to charge.

Charging Indicator:
The indicator light will be solid red while charging and turn blue when fully charged.

Proper fit is essential for optimal sound and comfort.
Ear Tips and Cush Fins
Cush Fin for secure fit: Rotate the Cush Fins to your desired position. Move the ear tips to your desired position.

ATP (Adjustable Ear Tip Placement)
Position 1: Comfortable, deeper fit.
Position 2: Looser, shallower fit.

Finding the Best Fit
Try various ear tips and Cush Fins to find the best fit for your ears.
Wearing the Earbuds
- Place the cable behind your neck, laying both sides parallel.
- Press the cable into the channel for a custom fit.

Using the AUX Adapter
Connect the Adapter
Insert the USB cable into the JLab Epic Executive and connect the AUX adapter to USB.

Play Audio
Play audio from airplane or mobile device AUX. This allows for wired playback without power.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues
Cannot see JLAB EPIC on my device
- Turn off Bluetooth, then turn it back on in your device settings.
- If you still don't see JLab Epic, repeat First Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing.
JLAB EPIC not reconnecting to my device after powering on
- In your device settings, skip JLab Epic.
- Turn off Bluetooth, then turn it back on in your device settings.
- Repeat First Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing.
Bluetooth is connecting to an unwanted device
Note: JLab Epic Executive can remember up to 8 devices. It will try to automatically connect to the last used device.
- If you have multiple devices connected to JLab Epic Executive, turn off Bluetooth on the unwanted device and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.
- Long press the button for 10 seconds. Release. The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating pairing mode. Select 'JLab Epic' in your device settings to connect. The indicator light will slowly flash blue when Bluetooth pairing.
Warnings and Precautions
Safety
- Ensure the USB port is closed and secured. This prevents sweat and water damage.
- Before charging, the JLab Epic Executive earbuds must be completely dry. Internal components may be damaged if exposed to moisture. Allow to air dry before charging.

General Precautions
- Avoid getting water or liquid into the earbud ear tips or charging port.
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds, yanking the cable with quick tugs, or bending the cable at sharp angles.
- Earwax may build up in the earbud ear tips, reducing sound quality. Clean earwax carefully with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stopping use.
- If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, stop use and consult your doctor.
- Treat your earbuds with care, similar to a pair of stylish sunglasses, and store them in a safe place when not in use.
