Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials, such as plastic bags and foam inserts. Ensure all parts and accessories are accounted for.
- Read all instructions and remove any stickers from the unit, except for the rating label located on the bottom.
- Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Wash the baskets and racks with warm, soapy water, and dry them thoroughly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. For faster cooling, remove hot baskets from the unit.
- To remove cooled racks from baskets: pinch the center grip bar on the rack and pull it straight up and out of the basket. Warning: Do not lift the rack out of the basket when hot, as this may cause injury.
- Wash the baskets and racks with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry well with a towel for optimal results. Baskets and racks are also safe for the top rack of a dishwasher.
- Wipe down the outside and inside of the unit with a damp cloth as needed. Do not place the unit in the dishwasher or submerge it in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers on baskets, racks, or the exterior and interior of the appliance, as this could damage the finishes.
How to Cook in the Air Fryer
Follow these steps to cook using your air fryer:
- Step 1: Position the unit on a hard, flat surface and plug it in. Lower the racks into the baskets, or use a single rack if cooking in one basket. Ensure the rack(s) are secure and level by pressing down on them.
- Step 2: Place food onto the rack(s). Do not fill the basket(s) beyond the indicated maximum fill line [max-fill-line].
- Step 3: Slide the basket(s) into the air fryer. Note: If cooking with only one basket, the other basket slot does not need to be occupied.
- Step 4: Set the desired time and temperature for each basket, either independently or using the sync functions. Press the Start button to begin the cooking cycle.
- Step 5: During cooking, the unit may provide prompts to shake or flip food. The "Shake" light will illuminate for active baskets, and the air fryer will emit a beep [beep-sound] as a reminder. If your food does not require shaking, you can disregard this notification.
- Step 6: When the timer finishes, the air fryer will automatically turn off. Carefully remove the basket, check the food for doneness, and then transfer the food to plates or a platter for serving.
