SEBSON Outdoor Motion Sensor Light
Model Numbers: WAL_SENSOR_F_INT, WAL_SENSOR_G_INT
Intended Use
This SEBSON outdoor light is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. The integrated infrared motion detector detects the heat radiation from moving bodies and switches the light on.
Scope of Delivery
- 1 Outdoor light
- Screws for fixing (2 pieces)
- Dowels Ø 6mm (2 pieces)
General Safety Instructions
Danger: Installation must be performed by a qualified professional according to current electrical and installation regulations.
Danger: If power cables are damaged or come into contact with moisture, immediately disconnect the product from the power supply and ensure it cannot be switched on again.
Danger of Suffocation: Keep this product away from children and animals. Packaging contains small parts that can be swallowed.
Caution: Do not aim the light beam directly at people or animals to prevent fire or eye damage. Avoid looking directly into the light source.
- The built-in light source cannot be replaced.
- Modifying the product is not allowed. Modifications compromise safe functioning and void the warranty.
- Do not connect a dimmer, as it may damage the lamp.
- Do not cover the light with heat-insulating materials, as excessive heat can damage the LEDs.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for injuries or damage resulting from improper use.
- Other uses than described may lead to product damage, electric shock, short circuit, or fire.
- Changes to the product, packaging, or instructions, as well as printing errors, are reserved.
- Protect the product from external damage, heavy dirt, moisture, and excessive heat.
- Use only supplied parts to maintain warranty. Repairs must be done by experts using original spare parts.
- In commercial settings, adhere to accident prevention regulations for electrical installations.
Installation Instructions (Fig. 4)
Danger: Ensure the circuit is interrupted before installation. Work on mains voltage requires interrupting the power supply (remove fuse or switch off breaker). Verify with a voltage tester that the line is de-energized. The circuit must not be closed during installation. This poses a risk of death.
Danger: Installation must be performed by a qualified professional according to valid electrical and installation regulations.
Attention: Before drilling mounting holes, ensure there are no gas, water, or electrical pipes that could be damaged.
Always observe safety instructions and technical data before mounting.
Installation Notes:
- L: Live wire (black or brown)
- N: Neutral conductor (blue or grey)
For optimal range, select the recommended mounting height.
For optimal sensor sensitivity, mount the device so that movements are transverse to the device. Movements directly towards or away from the device are less effectively detected (see Fig. 2a).
Unsuitable Mounting Environments/Surfaces (Fig. 2b):
- Metal surfaces (e.g., metal door frames).
- Immediate vicinity of electronic devices (e.g., computers, monitors).
- Heat sources (e.g., radiant heaters, radiators, lamps).
- Near extraction systems or fans.
- Within the radiation range of luminaires (minimum distance >50cm).
Motion Sensor Function
The integrated sensor detects heat radiation from moving bodies (people, animals). The light switches on upon detection. Detection can be limited by large furniture, glass panes, or very high ambient temperatures (>40°C). The light remains on as long as movements are detected within the sensor's range.
Detection Area (Fig. 3)
The detection range is approximately 9 meters with a 140° angle (in open space) at a mounting height of 1.8-2.5 meters on a wall. In enclosed rooms, the detection distance may be reduced depending on the room layout.
Sensitivity Adjustment (Ambient Brightness)
This rotary control adjusts the switch-on sensitivity based on ambient brightness, typically between 3 and 2,000 LUX.

Time Setting (Switch-off Delay)
The operating time can be continuously adjusted from approximately 10 seconds to 5 minutes. The timer resets if movement is detected before the set time elapses.

Function Test
Ensure the motion detector is not obscured and the detection area is not restricted by objects like large furniture. To set detection range and perform a daylight test, turn the controls to the indicated positions. The motion detector activates after a warm-up phase of approximately 30 seconds. If no further movement is detected, the sensor switches off.

Disposal Information
This product must not be disposed of with household waste. As devices contain valuable recyclable materials, they should be sent for recycling to avoid harming the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal. At the end of its useful life, bring the product to a collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Inquire about these locations with your local municipality, waste disposal services, or retailer.
Cleaning
Danger: Before cleaning, interrupt the circuit by switching off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse. Use a slightly moistened cloth for cleaning. To avoid damaging the product, prevent water from entering the housing. Never clean the device under running water. Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents.
