Getting Started

Follow these instructions to set up your Blue2 FT wireless accessibility switch. For a visual guide, refer to the product's online resources.

  1. On an iPad or iPhone, go to Settings App > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  2. Turn the Blue2 FT on using the [On/Off Switch].
  3. Select "BLUE2 FT XXXXX" (where X's denote the Blue2's serial number) from the list of available Bluetooth devices. If multiple Blue2 FT units are present, the serial number is located on the bottom of the device.
  4. The first time you use Blue2 FT, the blue switch top (S1) is configured to function as the Space key, and the yellow switch top (S2) is configured to function as the Enter key. Keyboard commands for each switch can be changed to Space, Enter, 1, 2, 3, or 4.
  5. Configure Switch Control in the Settings App on your Apple device.
  6. Your Blue2 FT is now ready to use.

Device Overview

The Blue2 FT features several components for operation and feedback:

  • 1. FeatherTouch Switch Top (S1): The primary switch input.
  • 2. FeatherTouch Switch Top (S2): A secondary switch input.
  • 3. Visual Feedback Lights: Indicate switch status or activity.
  • 4. Status Indicator Light: Shows the overall status of the device, such as power or pairing.
  • 5. Keyboard Commands: Configurable functions assigned to the switch tops.
  • 6. Blue2 FT On/Off Switch: Powers the device on or off.
  • 7. USB C Charging Jack: Port for charging the device.
  • 8. Bluetooth Pairing Button: Used to initiate Bluetooth pairing.
