Tutorial 2: Control Music
This tutorial explains how to create a custom Switch Control Recipe for controlling music. A paper marker or a small piece of Post-It-Note will be used to mark the location of the "Skip Track Forward" button on the iOS device screen. - Orient the device in the direction the user will be using it. This is important for marking the specific location on the screen for the Switch Control Recipe.
- On the iOS device, open the Music App.
- Select a song so that the music player controls appear on the screen.
- Using a small piece of Post-It-Note, mark the screen where the "Skip Track Forward" button is located. You can also mark the "Play/Pause" or "Skip Track Backwards" buttons instead.
- Exit the Music App. Keep the Post-It-Note marker on the screen of your iOS device.
- On the iOS device, navigate to Settings App > General > Accessibility > Switch Control.
