Shinobi II
Installation Method
Before installing the update, it is recommended to connect the Shinobi II to the main power using a USB-C power adapter (minimum 20W output) or use a fully charged battery.
It is important that the Shinobi II does not lose power during the firmware upgrade.
- Download the firmware provided by Atomos and unzip the ZIP file.
- Format an SD card with FAT32/NTFS for Mac or Windows PC.
- Copy all .BIN files included in the ZIP file to the root directory of the SD card.
- Insert the SD card containing the update files into the Shinobi II's SD card slot.
- Briefly press the power button to turn on the Shinobi II.
- The Atomos logo will appear, and the firmware update will automatically start after a few seconds.
- When the firmware update is complete, a message will prompt you to restart the Shinobi II.
Note: Before restarting, please allow a few seconds for the Shinobi II to complete the update.
- Press and hold the power button on the Shinobi II to turn it off, then immediately restart it.
- Once the Shinobi II restarts, select the info tab from the main menu. There, confirm that the version number matches the firmware you intended to install.
