This manual provides instructions for the Tuya WiFi Smart Door Magnetic sensor, designed to enhance your home security by detecting when doors or windows are opened or closed. It integrates with the TUYA Smart app for remote monitoring and notifications.
Device Description: The product consists of two main parts: a larger sensor unit and a smaller magnet. The sensor unit is an elongated, pill-shaped device, typically white, with a small red LED indicator light. The magnet is a similarly shaped, smaller component. A Wi-Fi symbol indicates its connectivity.

How to Use

Step 1: Prepare the Mounting Bracket and Battery
Push the mounting bracket upward to detach it from the main unit. Then, open the bracket and insert the battery.

Step 2: Insert Battery and Check Indicator
Place the battery into the battery bin, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated in the graphics. After two batteries are loaded, the indicator lights should briefly turn on and then turn off.

Step 3: Download the TUYA Smart App
Download the TUYA Smart APP from your device's app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Alternatively, you can scan a provided QR code to download the app for iOS/Android.

Step 4: Register and Add Device in the App
Register an account using your mobile phone number. On the app's "My Home" interface, tap the "+" icon or "Add Devices" button. Select "Security Sensor" from the categories, then choose "Door Magnetic Sensor".

Step 5: Enter Network Connection Mode
Using the pin provided in the accessory package, press and hold the reset key for more than 5 seconds. The indicator light should flash, indicating entry into automatic network connection mode. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your WiFi password and confirm.

Step 6: Manual Network Connection (if needed)
If the indicator light flashes quickly, press and hold the reset key for 5 seconds with the pin to enter manual network connection mode (indicator flashes slowly). The app may prompt you to choose a compatible mode. Enter your WiFi password and confirm. You may need to switch to your phone's WiFi settings to connect to the device's network (e.g., "Smartlife_XXXX") and then return to the app to continue the adding process.

Step 7: Network Connection Success and Usage
Once the network connection is successful, tap the door magnetic icon in the app. The app will display notifications when the door is opened or closed. For example, it will show "Door Is Open" when the magnetic contact is broken and "Door Is Closed" when it is re-established. You can also view a log of events.
