Product Description
The Milleteknik PoE Injector 1p S is a primary-switched PoE injector with a 12V, 25W battery backup, designed for indoor use. It provides power to PoE devices over extended distances where the standard network cable length is insufficient. The integrated battery ensures continuous power supply to the injector when the main power source fails, keeping connected systems operational.
This product is ideal for powering devices like IP cameras, card readers, door controllers, and other network-connected security equipment. It simplifies installation by enabling both power and data distribution over a single network cable.
The unit is designed for long life and energy efficiency, with support available for up to 10 years. It is not suitable for outdoor use.
About
The PoE Injector is utilized when the distance between a PoE-enabled device and its connection point (e.g., a switch) is too great. It acts as a power injector, allowing PoE devices to be powered from a distance. The internal battery provides backup power to the injector itself if the primary power fails.
Batteries ensure continued operation of connected systems, such as access control, during mains power outages.

Standby Consumption: Standby consumption is the current drawn by the circuit board when the system is operational and in battery mode. Specific values for the PoE Injector 1p are not provided.

Installation Requirements
The unit is intended for fixed installation indoors, environmental class 1. Recommended ambient temperature range is +5°C to +40°C, with an optimal range of +15°C to +25°C for best battery lifespan.

Warranty
The product carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Batteries and wear parts are excluded from the warranty.

Manufacturing, Lifespan, Environmental Impact, and Recycling
Manufactured by Milleteknik in Partille, Sweden. The product is designed for a long lifespan to minimize environmental impact. Lifespan is influenced by factors such as ambient temperature, load conditions, external damage, and user handling. Milleteknik products are modular for easy dismantling and recycling. Used products should be returned to a recycling station or the manufacturer for environmentally sound disposal. Contact your distributor for more information on recycling.
