Description & Connection
PROG Button: This button is essential for configuration and pairing.
Connection Diagram: The device features terminals for power input (L, N) and output connections (V1, V2).
The connection diagram shows the device with terminals labeled L (Live), N (Neutral), V1 (Output 1), and V2 (Output 2).
Settings and Pairing
The RFSW-42 comprises two independent units:
- A glass control panel with 4 pushbuttons, functioning similarly to the RFWB-40, used to control other units or the RFSW-42 itself.
- A lower part housed in a BOX, acting as an independent switching element with RFSA-42 functions. It can be controlled by system elements (ELAN, RF Touch), RFWB, RFKEY, RFIM controllers, or the glass control panel.
Pairing:
- Section A: Pairing buttons with built-in switching elements: The PROG button is used to activate learning or deletion modes and switch the active channel memory. Learning modes are indicated by LEDs (green for channel 1, red for channel 2).
- Section B: Pairing controller buttons to other elements: This process allows the controller's buttons to control other RF elements.
- Section C: Pairing without compatibility mode: A detailed procedure involving battery insertion, button presses, and PROG button activation to set up specific functions.
Setting Backlight, Sound, and Light Indication:
- Hold the PROG button, then quickly press the other pushbuttons, and release PROG.
- A short press of the PROG button enters the backlight setting mode, indicated by a red LED.
- Individual buttons can toggle:
- Adaptive backlight illumination.
- Complete backlight illumination.
- Acoustic indication of button presses.
- Pressing PROG again exits the setup mode.
PROG Button Modes
Table 1 details PROG button actions: entering pairing mode (1s, 3s, 2s), clearing channel/button memory (5s, 7s, 5s), and clearing the memory of an entire device (8s, 11s, 10s), depending on the specific device model.
Memory Function Selection
The device allows selection of memory functions for relay outputs.
- Pressing the PROG button for 1 second activates programming mode (LED flashes every second).
- Memory function status: ON (LED flashes 3 times), OFF (LED flashes once long).
- Pressing PROG for less than 1 second finishes programming and saves the selected memory function.
- Memory Function ON: Stores the last relay state before a power failure. Changes are saved 15 seconds after the change. For functions 5-6, the target state is saved instantly.
- Memory Function OFF: The output remains off after power reconnection.
Radio Frequency Signal Penetration
Signal strength varies depending on construction materials:
- Brick walls: 60-90% signal penetration.
- Wooden structures with plaster boards: 80-95% signal penetration.
- Reinforced concrete: 20-60% signal penetration.
- Metal partitions: 0-10% signal penetration.
- Common glass: 80-90% signal penetration.
A signal repeater (RFRP-20N) is recommended for weaker signals.
Control Options
RF controllers can be used to control various devices, including:
- Switches (e.g., RFSA-11B, RFSA-61B, RFSA-62B, etc.)
- Dimmers (e.g., RFDA-73/RGB, RFDA-11B, etc.)
- Lighting (e.g., RF-RGB-LED-550, RF-White-LED-675)

Safe Handling
When handling the device out of its packaging, avoid contact with liquids. Do not place the device on conductive surfaces or objects, and avoid unnecessary contact with its components.
Warning
This instruction manual is intended for both installation and user purposes. Installation and connection should only be performed by qualified personnel familiar with the manual and device functions, adhering to all regulations. Proper transportation, storage, and handling are crucial for trouble-free operation. If any damage, deformation, malfunction, or missing parts are observed, do not install the device and return it to the seller. Dispose of the product and its parts as electronic waste at the end of its lifecycle. Ensure all wires and terminals are de-energized before installation. Observe safety regulations, standards, and directives when mounting and servicing. Do not touch energized parts, as it poses a threat to life. Due to RF signal transmissivity, ensure correct placement of RF components within the building. RF Control is designed for indoor mounting only and must not be installed in metal switchboards or plastic switchboards with metal doors, as this obstructs the RF signal. RF Control is not recommended for critical applications like pulleys, pumps, or elevators where signal interference or battery failure could lead to loss of remote control.
