RFSG-1M Wireless Contact Converter
Brand: iNELS RF Control
Product Category: [Home Control] [Lighting Control] [Power Connection] [Wireless RF] [Information]
Model: RFSG-1M
Document Version: 02-36/2015 Rev.3
Characteristics
- This wireless contact converter is suitable for wireless transmission of information on switching HDO (central load disconnector).
- Utilizes network supply for partial transmission of information to control appliances or devices.
- Features a one-module design for mounting into electrical switchboards.
- When power is applied to the "S" terminals, it periodically transmits a "switch on" command every 10 minutes. It switches off immediately upon disconnection of the power supply.
- The TEST button on the controller is used for assigning it to a switching unit.
- Supports setting light scenes, allowing control of multiple iNELS RF Control units with a single press.
- Includes an internal antenna (AN-I). An external antenna (AN-E) is available for improved signal reception when the converter is placed in a metal switchboard.
- Offers a range of up to 160 meters in open space. For insufficient signal strength between the controller and the unit, use a signal repeater (e.g., RFRP-20) or protocol components (e.g., RFIO2) that support this feature.
- Communicates using the bi-directional iNELS RF Control protocol.
Assembly / Mounting
The unit is designed for mounting into electrical switchboards.
Connection / Zapojení
The device has terminals for power supply (A1, A2) and control input (S, S). It also features an antenna connector (ANT).
Radio Frequency Signal Penetration
The penetration of radio frequency signals varies significantly depending on the construction materials of the building:
- Brick walls: 60-90% signal penetration.
- Wooden structures with plaster boards: 80-95% signal penetration.
- Reinforced concrete: 20-60% signal penetration.
- Metal partitions: 0-10% signal penetration.
- Common glass: 80-90% signal penetration.
A visual diagram illustrates how signal strength decreases as it passes through different materials and building elements.
Indication, Manual Control
- LED Un: Indicates the supply voltage (typically green).
- LED STATUS: Indicates transmission activity (typically red).
- Programming of the device is performed using the TEST button.
Programming / Programování
- Activate Programming Mode: Press the programming button on the actuator (e.g., RFSA-11B) for more than 1 second. The actuator's LED will flash at a 1-second interval.
- Assign Transmitter: On the RFSG-1M unit, press and hold the TEST button for more than 4 seconds. This action automatically assigns the RFSG-1M transmitter to the actuator.
- Finish Programming: Press the programming button on the actuator (e.g., RFSA-11B) for less than 1 second. This action exits the programming mode, and the LED will turn off.

Warning / Varování
This instruction manual is intended for both mounting and user purposes and is always part of the product's packaging.
Installation and connection can only be performed by individuals with adequate professional qualifications, who have thoroughly understood this manual and the device's functions, and who observe all valid regulations.
The trouble-free function of the device also depends on proper transportation, storage, and handling. If any signs of damage, deformation, malfunction, or missing parts are noticed, do not install the device and return it to the seller.
This product and its parts must be treated as electronic waste upon the termination of its lifecycle.
Before commencing installation, ensure that all wires, connected parts, and terminals are de-energized. During mounting and servicing, observe all safety regulations, norms, directives, and professional guidelines for working with electrical devices.
Life Threat Warning: Do not touch parts of the device that are energized.
Due to the transmissivity of RF signals, pay attention to the correct location of RF components within the building where the installation is taking place.
RF Control is designated solely for interior mounting. Devices are not intended for installation in exterior or humid spaces.
Devices must not be installed into metal switchboards or plastic switchboards with metal doors, as this will prevent RF signal transmission.
RF Control is not recommended for controlling equipment that ensures vital functions or for controlling hazardous devices such as pumps, electric heaters without thermostats, elevators, or hoists. Radiofrequency transmission may be shielded by obstructions, interfered with, or transceiver batteries may become depleted, thereby disabling remote control.
