DJI NEO Two-Way Charging Hub User Guide
Product Overview
The DJI NEO Two-Way Charging Hub is designed to charge DJI Neo Intelligent Flight Batteries and can also function as a power bank.
Warnings
- Use the DJI™ 65W Portable Charger or a USB Power Delivery charger for charging DJI Neo Intelligent Flight Batteries.
- The charging hub is only compatible with the BWX521-1435-7.3 Intelligent Flight Battery. Do not use with other battery models.
- Place the charging hub on a flat, stable surface with good ventilation. Ensure proper insulation to prevent fire hazards.
- Do not touch the metal terminals on the battery ports. Clean them with a dry cloth if dirty.
- Charge low-battery batteries promptly. Storing batteries in the charging hub is recommended.
Usage
Charging Intelligent Flight Batteries
- Insert batteries into the charging hub's battery ports until they click. (See Figure A1)
- Connect the charging hub to a power outlet using a USB-C charger. Status LEDs indicate battery status during charging.
Charging method varies based on charger power:
- 10 W ≤ Charger Power < 30 W: Charges sequentially from high to low battery level.
- 30 W ≤ Charger Power < 45 W: Charges two batteries simultaneously. First charges the battery with a lower level to match the highest, then charges both.
- Charger Power ≥ 45 W: Charges three batteries simultaneously. First charges the two batteries with lower levels to match the highest, then charges all three.
After charging, batteries can be stored in the hub. Remove for use. (See Figure A2)
Using the Charging Hub as a Power Bank
- Insert Intelligent Flight Batteries into the hub. Connect an external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the USB-C port. Press and hold the function button for three seconds. (See Figure B)
- Batteries discharge from lowest to highest level to power external devices. Disconnect the external device to stop charging it.
Note: A battery with less than 7% power cannot charge an external device. Reconnect the USB-C cable to switch back to charging flight batteries.
Checking Battery Level
After inserting batteries, press the function button once. Status LEDs will display battery levels. Refer to the descriptions below.
Status LEDs Descriptions
Each battery port has a corresponding status LED array showing charging status, battery level, and abnormal status.
Charging Status
- LEDs blink quickly successively: Battery is charging with a USB PD charger.
- LEDs blink slowly successively: Battery is charging with a normal charger.
- LEDs are solid: Battery is fully charged.
- All LEDs blink in sequence: No battery inserted.
Battery Level
The battery level indication is the same as on the aircraft. Refer to the aircraft's user manual for details.
Abnormal Status
Abnormal status LED indications are the same as on the aircraft. Refer to the aircraft's user manual for details.
