Clean surfaces with mild soapy water or glass cleaner and a soft duster. WARNING: Prevent liquid from entering the case. Unplug the power cord before cleaning with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

4.2. Troubleshooting

Many issues are due to operating errors or connected components. Check the following before contacting support.

4.2.1. No music playback

  • MUTE feature is active; disable it.
  • Device accidentally switched to stand-by mode; press the power button.
  • If the display is dark and stand-by LED is off, the mains fuse may be faulty. Contact your specialist dealer.
  • Remote control without function: Battery may be empty; charge or replace it. Ensure direct connection or proximity to the device.

4.2.2. A CD has been inserted, but "no disc" appears in the display.

The CD may be dirty, defective, or inserted incorrectly (label side down). Eject, insert correctly (label side up), or clean and reinsert the CD.

4.2.3. Lipsync out of sync on digital inputs

If lip-sync is incorrect despite low-latency technology, your TV may offer a compensation setting. The AS/CS/PAS 30.3 does not have a specific setting for this.

4.2.4. HDMI ARC without function

Check the following if HDMI ARC is not working:

  • Is the HDMI INPUT with ARC labeling used for connection?
  • Is the HDMI cable ARC-enabled?
  • Has HDMI ARC been selected as the output source?
  • Are TV sound settings prioritizing other outputs (e.g., Opto-OUT)?
  • Has PCM been selected as the sound format?

If issues persist, check display information: "No Signal -ARC Error" means no signal from TV; "No PCM" requires changing TV audio format to PCM.

NOTE: Device control is also possible via a "normal" HDMI input on the TV, not just HDMI ARC INPUT.

4.3. Warranty

AVM will repair your device free of charge for up to two years after purchase if an error cannot be remedied by you or your dealer. Warranty covers materials and labor. Transport costs are borne by the owner from six months after purchase. German law generally applies to warranty claims.

4.3.1. Prerequisites for your warranty claim are:

  • Purchase from an AVM-authorized reseller. Devices from other sources will not be repaired.
  • Warranty registration via www.avm.audio.
