General Safety Instructions

⚠️ ATTENTION! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.

1. Work Area Safety

  • Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
  • Do not operate glue gun in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
  • Keep children and bystanders away while operating a glue gun. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

2. Electrical Safety

  • Glue gun plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
  • Do not expose glue gun to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a glue gun will increase the risk of electric shock.
  • Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the glue gun. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal Safety

  • Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a glue gun. Do not use a glue gun while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating glue gun may result in serious personal injury.
  • Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

4. Glue Gun Use and Care

  • Do not force the glue gun. Use the correct glue gun for your application. The correct glue gun will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
  • Store idle glue gun out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the glue gun or these instructions to operate the glue gun. Glue guns are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

5. Service

  • Have your glue gun serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the glue gun is maintained.

Safety Warning

This is a high-temperature glue gun. Any abuse of inappropriate glue sticks might lead to reverse flow of melt adhesive and damage the gun.

The heat body and melt adhesive is high-temperature work. Direct body touch is prohibited. Do not use it in potentially flammable or explosive circumstances.

Do not lift the gun high or leave the nozzle upward, this will cause hot glue to leak out the back and cause damage to the glue gun.

Power off if the gun is not to be used within 15 minutes, otherwise, the adhesive might flow inversely and damage the gun.

Components

The glue gun consists of the following parts:

  • Hot melting Nozzle: The tip where the glue exits.
  • Rubber Protection Sleeve: A protective cover around the nozzle area.
  • Stand Holder: A retractable or fixed stand to keep the gun upright when not in use.
  • Trigger: The lever that pushes the glue stick through the gun.
  • Power Cord: The electrical cord for powering the device.

Operating Voltage: 220-240V 50-60Hz

Operation Instructions

  • Insert a glue stick with a 7mm diameter into the melting chamber through the back of the glue gun and push it forward until it goes no further.
  • Plug in the glue gun and pre-heat for 3-5 minutes.
  • Once it reaches the melting temperature, pull the trigger and squeeze to dispense the glue. Repeat this step as needed.
  • Insert an additional glue stick into the back as needed.

Application

  • Adhere or join two work pieces when repairing furniture, fixing electrical wire, installing floors, fixing toys and models, etc.
  • Repair a leak or crack as waterproof material in buckets, rain gutters, etc.
  • Seal cartons or other packaging.
  • Applicable for various surfaces such as wood, plastic, foam, fabrics, paper, cardboard, ceramics, etc.

Storage and Maintenance

  • Never let any liquids get inside the glue gun. If you need to clean the outside, use a damp cloth only.
  • When you finish using the glue gun, DO NOT pull the remainder of the stick out of the gun. This will cause hot glue to be sucked out the back and cause damage to the gun. The remainder can be used next time directly.
  • Always keep the rear slider clean, so the stick can be inserted smoothly.
  • Make sure that the gun has fully cooled down before putting it in storage.
  • The glue gun shall be positioned on its stand when not in use.
  • Put the gun in a dry and ventilated place instead of a humid or wet one.

Recycling

♻️ Recycling: Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or local store for recycling advice.
