First-Time Use
Filling the Salt Reservoir
The use of salt prevents the formation of limescale on dishes and machine components. The salt reservoir must never be empty. It is important to set the water hardness. The reservoir is located in the lower part of the dishwasher and should be filled when the SALT REFILL indicator light is on.
- Remove the lower rack and unscrew the reservoir cap (anticlockwise).
- For the first time only: fill the salt reservoir with water.
- Position the funnel and fill the salt reservoir to its edge (approx. 1 kg); some water leakage is normal.
- Remove the funnel and wipe away any salt residue from the opening. Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly to prevent detergent from entering the container, which could damage the water softener. Add salt before starting a wash cycle to avoid corrosion.
Water Softening System
The water softener automatically reduces water hardness, preventing scale buildup on the heater and improving cleaning efficiency. This system regenerates itself with salt, requiring refills when empty. Regeneration frequency depends on water hardness settings. A single regeneration uses approximately 3.5L of water, adds up to 5 minutes to the cycle, and consumes less than 0.005 kWh of energy.
Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser
Rinse aid helps dishes dry more easily. Fill the dispenser when the RINSE AID REFILL indicator light is on. Never pour rinse aid directly into the appliance tub.
Filling the Detergent Dispenser
Use the opening device to open the dispenser. Add detergent to the dry dispenser only. Place detergent for pre-washing directly into the tub. If using all-in-one detergents, use the TABLET button for optimal results. Using non-dishwasher detergents may cause malfunction or damage.

* Not all options can be used simultaneously. ** Values for programs other than Eco are indicative; actual time may vary based on factors like water temperature/pressure, room temperature, detergent amount, load quantity/type, load balancing, selected options, and sensor calibration. Sensor calibration can increase program duration by up to 20 minutes.
ECO program data is measured under laboratory conditions according to European Standard EN 60436:2020. Pre-treatment of dishes is not needed before any program.
Options and Functions
- Multizone: Allows for half loading to save water, electricity, and detergent when the dishwasher is not full. By default, the appliance washes dishes in all racks.
- Key Lock: Activated by a long press (3 seconds) of the Multizone button. Deactivated by another long press.
- Power Clean: Uses additional power jets for a more intensive and powerful wash in the lower rack's specific area, recommended for pots and casseroles.
- Tablet (Tab): Use when using powder or liquid detergent.
- Delay: Allows program start to be delayed for a period between 0:30 and 24 hours. Cannot be set once a wash cycle has started.
- NaturalDry: A convection drying system that automatically opens the door during/after the drying phase to ensure exceptional drying performance. The door opens at a temperature safe for kitchen furniture.
Loading the Racks
Cutlery Rack
The third rack is designed for cutlery. Capacity: 11 standard place-settings.
Upper Rack
Load delicate and light dishes: glasses, cups, saucers, low salad bowls. The upper rack has tip-up supports which can be used in a vertical position for tea/dessert saucers or in a lower position to load bowls and food containers.
Lower Rack
For pots, lids, plates, salad bowls, cutlery, etc. Large plates and lids should ideally be placed at the sides to avoid interference with the spray arm. The lower rack has tip-up supports which can be used in a vertical position for plates or in a horizontal (lower) position to easily load pans and salad bowls.
Power Clean Zone
Power Clean uses special water jets in the rear of the cavity to wash more intensively heavily soiled items. The lower rack has a Space Zone, a special pull-out support in the rear of the rack that can be used to support frying pans or baking pans in an upright position, thus taking up less space. Position pots/casseroles facing the Power Clean component and activate the POWER CLEAN option on the panel.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Filter Assembly
If foreign objects (such as broken glass, porcelain, bones, fruit seeds etc.) are found, remove them carefully. Never remove the wash-cycle pump protection.
Cleaning the Spray Arms
To remove the upper spray arm, turn the plastic locking ring in a clockwise direction. The lower spray arm may be removed by pulling it upwards.
Troubleshooting
Problems | Possible Causes | Solutions |
---|---|---|
The dishwasher does not fill with water. Display shows: F6 and both On/Off and START/Pause LEDs are blinking rapidly. | No water in the water supply or the tap is closed. The inlet hose is bent. The sieve in the water inlet hose is clogged. | Make sure there is water in the water supply or the tap is running. Ensure the inlet hose is not bent (see INSTALLATION), reprogram the dishwasher and reboot. After verification and cleaning, turn off and on the dishwasher and restart a new program. |
Dishwasher finishes the cycle prematurely. Display shows: F15 and both On/Off and START/Pause LEDs are blinking rapidly. | Drain hose positioned too low or siphoning into home sewage system. Air in water supply. | Check if the end of the drain hose is placed at the correct height (see INSTALLATION). Check for siphoning into home sewage system, install an air admittance valve if necessary. Check water supply for leaks or other issues letting air inside. |
Detergent leaks. | Depends on the liquid detergent used and can be emphasized in case of the Delay option being activated. | Small leaks will not cause machine malfunction and can be avoided by changing the liquid detergent type or using tablets. |
