Terms and Conditions

WARRANTY PERIOD

This 3-year extended warranty promotion is in addition to the normal Hisense Manufacturer's Warranty. It is valid only for customers who purchased a qualifying product from a participating retailer within the promotional period and who have registered their purchase in time. The promotion provides an additional 3 years of Manufacturer's Warranty, extending the total warranty period beyond the standard 2 years.

CONDITIONS OF THE PROMOTIONAL WARRANTY

  1. The warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser of the product within mainland UK and cannot be transferred. No alternative will be offered.
  2. Only qualifying models purchased within the promotional period (refer to Appendix 1) from selected retailers are valid for this promotional warranty. All other purchases are covered by the standard Hisense warranty only.
  3. To benefit from this promotional warranty, customers must complete the online registration within 90 days of purchasing a qualifying product. Registration can be done online at hisense.warrantyonline.co.uk or by phone at 03330 436697. The registration process may require an image of the invoice/receipt and must include the valid serial number of the device. No promotional warranty repair service will be provided without completed registration.
  4. The warranty covers qualifying products used in a normal domestic environment only. Commercial use in any application invalidates the warranty.
  5. The warranty applies only to individual end users, not to companies, retailers, or organisations for resale or commercial use.
  6. When warranty service involves the exchange of a product or part, subject to applicable law, the replaced item becomes the property of Hisense. The replacement may be new or repaired and assumes the remaining warranty period of the original product.
  7. By benefiting from the promotional warranty, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  8. Product Identification:
    • Hisense reserves the right to reject claims where the customer cannot produce the product serial number and proof of purchase for verification.
    • The warranty is void if the Serial Number sticker on the equipment is damaged, illegible, modified, or removed.
    • If a repair request is made and the Serial Number sticker is not attached or the customer cannot produce original proof of purchase, agents will not perform the repair, and a call-out fee will be charged.
  9. Warranty Conditions:
    • This warranty applies to new products purchased for domestic use in the UK.
    • This warranty applies only to qualifying products bought during the qualifying period from a participating retailer and registered within 90 days of purchase.
    • This warranty covers the cost of parts and labour, provided by Hisense or its nominated agents, to repair manufacturing defects arising from normal domestic usage within the warranty period.
    • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the first user of a new appliance.
    • This warranty is void if there has been any unauthorised access to the product's components or software.
    • Hisense or its authorised service agents will, at their discretion and without charge, repair or replace defective parts or components.
    • Customers must present their purchase invoice/receipt for free warranty service. Failure to do so may result in Hisense or its agents declining the warranty claim/service.
    • Hisense accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft of the product during freight, transport, or storage.
    • The product owner is responsible for making the appliance accessible for repair. Additional charges may apply if special equipment or additional work is needed for uninstalling. Hisense or its agents may refuse to complete repairs until the appliance is moved to a safe and accessible area.
  10. What is not covered by this warranty (excluded):
    • Defects caused by animals or pests, fire, lightning, natural disasters, flood, pollution, riots, accidents, unstable power supplies, voltage/current fluctuations, dirt, corrosion, salt build-up, excessive moisture, or resulting from excessive use (not normal wear and tear).
    • Damage or failure due to tampering, alteration, or repair by an unauthorised person.
    • Delays to repairs caused by conditions outside the control of Hisense UK Ltd.
    • Damage caused by improper testing, demonstration, maintenance, installation, use, adjustment, or alteration.
    • Product damage or failure due to improper siting or positioning, such as inadequate ventilation, excessively dusty environments, or corrosive, damp, or damaging environments.
    • Damage caused by misuse, impact, or excessive force.
    • Compatibility issues with other products, apps, or software.
    • Instructions on correct operation, siting, or connection of the appliance.
    • Replacement of house mains fuses, correction of house wiring, plumbing, drainage, or gas supply.
    • Replacement or repair of cosmetic or consumable parts such as bulbs, plugs, fuses, cables, filters, attachments, control knobs, handles, glass and wire shelves, drawers, rubber hoses, plastic door shelves, and accessories like oven baking trays and shelves. This includes parts worn, discoloured, or damaged due to incorrect use or cleaning.
    • Appliance repairs due to limescale, mould, dirt, grease, spillages, and odours.

GENERAL TERMS

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions reasonably, in accordance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  2. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this promotion due to force majeure or other factors beyond its control.
  3. The Promoter may undertake reasonable action to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims, including requiring further verification of identity, claimant details, or qualifying purchase.
  4. This promotional offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other similar Hisense UK Ltd promotion.
  5. Hisense UK Ltd reserves the right to amend the promotion in whole or part without prior notice or compensation.
  6. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
