Intended and foreseeable unintended use This product is intended as a PIR motion sensor to control other smart products using Zigbee. This product requires the Nedis Zigbee Gateway WIFIZBxxx to use the product wirelessly. Only use the product as described in this user manual.

Any other use of the product than described in this user manual is regarded as unintended use and may cause injury or damage to the product and void the warranty.

The following is considered as foreseeable unintended use:

• Failure to comply with the instructions in this user manual.
• Unauthorised modifications to the product.
• Use of spare parts or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Failure to eliminate defects of the products that increase the safety risks.
• Use in environmental conditions that deviate from the specified operational conditions.

Safety Instructions

Fire hazard: 

• Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Always replace a damaged or defective product immediately.

Electrical hazard: 

• Do not open the product, there are no user serviceable parts inside.
• Do not expose the product to water ormoisture

• Do not let children play with the packaging material. Always keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
• Do not let children unattended when the product is in use to ensure that they do not play with the product. Always supervise children when the product is in use.

• Make sure that the battery polarity (+/-) matches the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
• Only use the battery type(s) recommended in this document.
• Do not remove a cell or battery from the original packaging until required for use. Risk of damaging the environment:
• Properly dispose empty cells or batteries
