Unitronics offer EtherCAT™ Master module for UniStream PLC series that need to be updated on new firmware release.

Firmware Update Procedure

1. Download the latest UAC-01EC2 firmware version from Unironic website (www.unitronicsplc.com)
2. Make sure the system is idle.
3. Extract the ZIP compressed file content to root folder of your flash drive (DOK), the flash drive must be FAT32 formatted.
4. Plug the USB flash drive into the UAC-01EC2 USB port.
5. Using the PLC UniApps menu, System tab, Upgrade, access the Ether CAT section.
6. If previous version displayed, ex. 1.0.36500.0, press the Upgrade button. Otherwise, press Force Upgrade.
7. When finish, reboot the system completely and validate the Ether CAT master menu again using the Uni Apps menu.
