Unitronics UAC-01EC2 EtherCAT™ Master Firmware Update Procedure

1. UAC-01EC2 Overview

Unitronics offers the UAC-01EC2 EtherCAT™ Master module for UniStream PLC series that require updates for new firmware releases.

2. Firmware Update Procedure

Download the latest UAC-01EC2 firmware version from the Unitronics website: www.unitronicsplc.com.
Ensure the system is idle.
Extract the contents of the ZIP compressed file to the root folder of your flash drive (DOK). The flash drive must be FAT32 formatted.
Plug the USB flash drive into the UAC-01EC2 USB port.
Using the PLC UniApps menu, navigate to the System tab, then select Upgrade, and access the EtherCAT section.
If a previous version is displayed (e.g., 1.0.36500.0), press the Upgrade button. Otherwise, press the Force Upgrade button.
Upon completion, reboot the system entirely and validate the EtherCAT master menu again using the UniApps menu.
