Check BOM List

Before installation, you should prepare the following items.

Connect Power Cable

  1. Double-check to ensure the battery power switch is in the off position before operation.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (3)
  2. Plug the positive and negative power cables into the battery power terminals as shown in the following picture.
  3. Connect the opposite ends of the positive and negative power cables to the corresponding positive and negative terminals of the inverter as shown in the following picture.
  4. Double-check to ensure that the positive terminal of the battery is connected to the positive terminal of the inverter and that the negative terminal of the battery is connected to the negative terminal of the inverter.

Connect Communication Cable

  1. Connect one end of the communication cable to the CAN port of the battery as shown in the following picture.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (4)
  2. Connect the opposite end of the communication cable to the BMS port of the inverter as shown in the following picture.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (5)

Install Energy Meter

  1. Connect the conductors of the energy meter to the GRID port of the inverter as shown in the following picture.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (6)pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (7)
  2. Connect one end of the communication cable to the meter. (PIN 4,5 of the communication cable to PIN 5, 6 port of the meter).pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (8)
  3. Connect the opposite end of the communication cable (RJ45) to the meter port of the inverter.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (9)
  4. Connect the power cable of the energy meter to the grid.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (10)
  5. The grid light on the inverter panel is illuminated.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (11)

Set DIP Switch

  1. Set the DIP switch to the position as shown in the following picture. (UP, DOWN, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN)pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (12)

Start System up

  2. Press the SW button for 1 second.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (14)
  3. Ensure that the RUN light is flashing.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (15)
  4. Ensure that the battery light and the solar light on the inverter panel are flashing.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (16)

Monitor System

  1. Download the Ai-solar App from the Google Play store or Apple App Store.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (18)
  2. Open the App and log in with the registered account.pytesusa-E-BOX-Series-With-Solplanet-Inverter-FIG- (19)

  4. Click on the system, scroll down to the bottom, and click on the battery section to view battery information.
