Description
- KS-SOLO-OUT is an addressable Single Output Module designed for control of dampers, plant equipment, equipment shutdown, etc.
- A Hochiki ESP protocol device it is compatible with Kentec’s range of Taktis and Syncro Addressable control panels.
- KS-SOLO-OUT provides a volt-free changeover relay output rated 30VDC max at 1 Amp (Resistive load). The relay is provided with three terminals Common, Normally Closed, and Normally Open.
Important!
- To maintain the LPCB approval the KS-SOLO-OUT must be mounted inside an SMB-x enclosure in conjunction with the SMB-ADAPTOR plate, see installation instructions for details.
- If the PCB is removed from the protective outer casing the EN approval is void.KS-SOLO-OUT requires a single loop address programmed via the TCH-B200 programmer and programming leads PL3.

Taktis and Syncro AS control panels
KS-SOLO-OUT will be identified on Taktis and LE2 configuration software as its Hochiki equivalent part CHQ-SOM. When KS-SOLO OUT is used on a Syncro AS/XT+ control panel it will be identified by the panel and the LE2 software as a CHQ-POM and must be programmed as an output device only (ignorPOM-specificic programmable settings), any configuration on the inputs will have no effect.
Installation
To maintain LPCB approval, mount the KS-SOLO-OUT inside an SMB-x enclosure with the SMB-ADAPTOR plate as per the installation instructions. Do not remove the PCB from the protective outer casing to avoid voiding the EN approval.
Programming
Program a single loop address using the TCH-B200 programmer and programming lead PL3.

Operation
