CONTROLLER AND SWITCH FUZZ
The result of amplification stages connected in series. More is usually better.
LEVEL Level
Controls the volume of the fuzz. Louder clockwise.
TONE Tone
This is about dark and bright sound. Classic mid-range reduction with the control in the middle position. Turn clockwise for more highs and cuts in the bass. Turn anticlockwise for more bass and reduced highs.
FUZZ SwitchScoop
Standard fuzz with mid-range reduction.
Punch – fuzz with bass boost.
Psi – fuzz with maximum emphasis on the fundamental tones.
BLENO CMix
Controls the volume of the generated pitch shifts, intervals or octaves. Press the BLEND control while turning it to adjust which intervals are played. When the OCTAVE switch is in the UP or DOWN position, you can switch between major or minor tuning by pressing the BLEND control while turning it fully clockwise. When the OCTAVE switch is in the OUAL position, pressing the BLEND control produces a linear volume shift between the red and white intervals in the PITCH MATRIX pitch table. PITCH I PitchJ

REMOTE Jack
Connect a TRS cable to the Remote jack to bypass the Octave and Fuzz via an external switch. The tip contact controls the Fuzz and the tip contact controls the Octave. The jack responds to momentary switches by default. To configure for use with toggles, hold down the Octave switch while connecting power. The Octave LED will flash twice for momentary and three times for toggle configuration.
CONTROL Jack
Connect a TRS expression pedal to the CONTROL jack to control the amount of pitch shift. The range is from unison with the heel down to full pitch shift with the ball down. The maximum controllable pitch range depends on the setting on the octave control. Connect an external full switch to the CONTROL jack using a TS cable to be able to change the effect order. The LEO for the effect that is at the beginning flashes three times when a change has been made. The factory setting is Fuzz before Octave. Effect order FUZZ ? OCTAVE
Hold both Fuzz and Octave switches at the same time to change the effect order. The LEO for the effect that is at the beginning will flash three times when a change has been made. The factory setting is Fuzz before Octave.
WET+ORV/NURWET
Double tap the BLEND control to add or remove an Ory signal from the Octave effect. The Octave LEO flashes twice for “Wet Only” and three times for “Wet + Ory”. The
factory setting is Wet + Ory.
Controlling the volume shift
When the OCTAVE switch is in the DUAL position, the volume ratio between the two pitch shifts can be adjusted. Simply hold down the BLEND control while turning it. With the BLEND control in the middle position, the Volume of both pitch shifts is the same. If the pressed BLEND control is turned to the right, the lower pitch shift is attenuated. If the pressed BLEND control is turned to the left, the higher pitch shift is attenuated. In the UP or DOWN positions, turn the pressed BLEND control fully clockwise to activate the red or white intervals.
Slew rate for OCTAVE/PITCH – Key/Switch mode
Switch between key and switch mode by holding the Fuzz switch for 1 second. To change the slew rate, hold the Octave switch and then turn the Blend control. The Octave LEO flashes three times for a slew in key mode and twice for a slew in switch mode. The shortest time is about 5 ms when turned fully anticlockwise, and the shortest time is about 2 seconds when turned fully clockwise.
TRUE BYPASS / BUFFERED BYPASS
To switch between true bypass and buffered bypass, disconnect the power and then hold the FUZZ switch while reconnecting the power. The Fuzz LEO flashes twice for true bypass and three times for buffered bypass. The factory setting is buffered bypass.
FACTORY RESET
To reset the unit to factory settings, disconnect the power and then hold down the Octave and Fuzz switches simultaneously while reconnecting the power. The LEO for Octave and Fuzz will alternately flash three times to indicate a successful reset.
