  • Clean the waffle plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
  • Lightly grease the waffle plates with a little cooking oil.
  • Ensure no water enters the appliance.
  • WARNING: Do not operate the waffle maker in a vertical position; this is for storage only.

General Use

For best results, ensure the waffle plates are clean and dust-free. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth. For optimal results, pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil onto the non-stick plates and spread it with a kitchen towel, wiping off any excess.

When the appliance is heated for the first time, slight smoke or odor may be emitted. This is normal for heating appliances and does not affect safety.

  1. Insert the plug into the power outlet. The Red Power Light (6) and Green Ready Light (8) will illuminate, indicating preheating has begun.
  2. Allow the appliance to preheat until the Ready Light (8) turns off. This signifies the waffle plates have reached the correct cooking temperature.
  3. Open the lid and pour batter onto the bottom waffle plate (4).
  4. Close the lid. The Ready Light (8) will illuminate again.
  5. Bake for approximately 3 to 8 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown. The Ready Light (8) may turn off during cooking. Adjust baking time to your preference.
  6. When waffles are done, use the handle (1) to open the lid. Remove waffles using a plastic spatula. Never use metal tongs or knives, as they can damage the non-stick coating of the waffle plates (3 & 4).
  7. Once finished, unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and leave the unit open to cool down.

  • Always turn off the power and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • The waffle plates have a non-stick coating and require minimal cleaning. Simply wipe them with a damp cloth.
