DDE Control Units with USB-A Connector
Download: JBC Firmware Update File
Download the JBC Firmware Update File from www.jbctools.com/software.html which contains the latest update package. Save it on a USB-A pen drive, preferably one with no other files.
Connect the USB-A pen drive which contains the latest update file and the update notification to the control unit.
Will be displayed automatically.
Connection: USB-A Pen Drive to Control Unit
If the DME station does not detect the USB pen drive, please use a pen drive partitioning software.
325ºC Follow these instructions for DME:
Press “Install” on the pop-up window. If not displayed click on the notification.
Follow these instructions for DDE / HDE / NAE / JTSE / TESE / JNASE / ACE (Preheater Console):
Press 
key and confirm with “yes” in the pop-up window to begin the updating process.
Follow these instructions for ALE:
Press key and confirm with “yes” in the pop-up window to begin the updating process.
Updating Process
During the updating process do not turn off the control unit, it may turn on and off automatically. The installation finishes when the updating bar is completed and the work screen is displayed.
For DME
The work screen will be displayed after confirming the “Welcome” pop-up.
If the process stops for a long time (over 30 min), reset the station and wait until the installation is fully completed.
Checking Firmware Version
Check that the new firmware has been installed successfully by means of the following steps:
For DME:
Select first “Menu” (1) and than the “Station” icon (2) at the screen.
Select “Information” (3) and than press
(4) to check the firmware version.
For DDE / HDE / NAE / JTSE / TESE / ACE Preheater Console:
Select the
key to access to the main menu. Than select “Station” (1).
Afterwards select “Info” (2) and finally select “Software Version” (3) to see the installed software version.
Para ALE:
Select the button to access the main menu. Then select “Station Settings” (1) and finally select “Program Version” (2) to see the version of the installed software.
