Safety notes
| Warning |
| Run the cable of the Notebook lock so that it does not pose a tripping hazard or block emergency exits. |
Setting the combination number
| Note |
| The combination is factory-set to `0000′. (Fig. 1) |
- With a valid combination (`0000′ factory setting, or stored personal code), push the cable towards the numbered wheels and hold it in position. (Fig. 2)
- Using the numbered wheels, enter your new, personalised combination (Fig. 3)
- Release the cable in order to save the new combination. (Fig. 4)

| Make sure that the cable springs back to its original position after releasing it. |

Connection and locking of Notebook lock
- Attach the cable to a fixed object, e.g. foot of a table, cupboard.
- Hold down the button on the lock.
- Plug the lock into the USB port on the device you want to secure.
- Then release the button.
- Adjust the combination number.

| This notebook lock is intended for use on USB sockets as defined by the USB specification. The function may be limited if the USB socket has a special design. |
Open the Notebook lock
- Enter the correct combination number.
- Press the button.
- Pull the lock out of the USB port.
