Phomemo M08F User Guide
1. Product Introduction
1.1 Packing List
The package includes:
- Printer ×1
- Quick Start Guide ×1
- Type-C Cable ×1
- Velvet Pouch ×1
- USB to Type-C Adapter ×1
- Single-sided Thermal Paper - 10 sheets ×1
The Type-C data cable and USB adapter are placed in the velvet bag.

The printer components are:

2. Getting Started
2.1 Downloading the App
You can download the "Phomemo" app via:
- Method 1: Search for "Phomemo" on the App Store or Google Play.
- Method 2: Scan the QR code using your cell phone's camera, browser, or a dedicated QR code scanner.
Note: Safari browser on Apple devices may require a built-in QR code scanner.
2.2 Paper Installation Guide
- Long press the Power Button for 3 seconds until the Indicator Light turns green.
- Simultaneously press the Cover Open Buttons with both hands.
- Open the Top Cover.
- Remove the protective paper (if applicable).
- Close the Top Cover by pressing down on both ends until it clicks securely.
- Insert the paper with the text side up into the Paper Entry Slot. The printer will automatically pull the paper, and the Indicator Light will turn green upon completion.
2.3 User Guide: Printing via Mobile App
- Open the "Phomemo" app.
- Grant necessary permissions (Bluetooth, Internet).
- Wait for the printer to be searched.
- Tap [Connect Now].
- Once connected, tap [Paper loaded, starting printing].
- Edit your image and tap the edit icon.
- Confirm the preview and tap [Print].
- Printing is completed.
- Retrieve the printout.
The software interface is for illustration purposes only.
2.4 User Guide: Printing via computer
- Connect the printer to your computer using the Type-C cable. If your computer has a Type-C interface, use the provided adapter. Ensure the adapter is connected correctly (Type-C to computer, USB-A to printer).
- Visit m08f.phomemo.com to download and install the driver for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Select and open the file you need to print (supports JPG, PDF, TXT, DOCX, HTML, etc.).
- Tap the print icon.
- Select the M08F Printer and click [Print].
- Retrieve the printout.
3. Cleaning and Maintenance
Disconnect the printer from the power supply before cleaning.
If you experience issues like blank lines or blurry prints, clean the Print Head:
- Wait at least 30 minutes after printing for the Print Head to cool down.
- Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to gently wipe the Rubber Roller and Print Head 5 times each.
- Wait 5-10 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate before closing the Top Cover.
Print Head Warning: The Print Head can be very hot. Wait at least 30 minutes after turning off the power before touching it.
4. Charging Instructions
- Prepare a power adapter with a Type-A port (DC 5V/2A).
- Connect the Type-C end of the USB cable to the printer and the Type-A end to the power adapter.
- Check the Indicator Light: Alternating red and green means the printer is off; flashing green means it's on.
- For quick usage, charge for at least 20 minutes. For a full charge, wait 4 hours or until the Indicator Light is solid green.
- Avoid placing the printer on materials like cotton or linen during charging, as it may heat up.
- Unplug the charger once the battery is fully charged.
Avoid using the printer while charging to maintain print quality and battery life.

5.3 Permission Description
For iOS users:
- The app requires Internet access.
- The app requires Bluetooth permission.
For Android users:
- The app requires Bluetooth permission.
- The app requires permission to search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Bluetooth Pairing Request: For Android 12 and above, the app requires permission to search for nearby Bluetooth devices; for systems below Android 12, GPS permission is needed.
6. More Connection Methods
6.1 Connecting via QR Code
- Open the "Phomemo" app.
- Tap the settings icon at the top right corner.
- Tap [Scan QR Code].
- Scan the QR code on the printer.
- Device connected.
6.2 Connecting via Bluetooth
- Open the "Phomemo" app.
- Tap the settings icon at the top right corner.
- Go to Bluetooth Connections and search for the printer.
- Select your printer.
- Device connected.
7. Information to User
7.1 FCC WARNING

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
