The M08F printer features an indicator light that communicates its status:

Printer Connectivity Issues

1. Unable to link Bluetooth

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and connect the printer within the "Phomemo" application.
  2. Verify that all necessary permissions were granted during app installation. If not, enable them in your phone's settings.
  3. Try restarting both your mobile phone and the printer before attempting to connect again.

Note: The printer must be connected via the "Phomemo" application, not directly through your phone's Bluetooth settings.

2. Sharing of multiple devices

The M08F printer currently supports connection with only one device at a time. Simultaneous operation with multiple devices is not supported. To connect with a different mobile phone, first disconnect any currently connected devices.

Printing Effect

1. Print Blank / No Word Problem

  1. Confirm that you are using Thermal Paper.
  2. Check that the paper is correctly loaded. The smooth printing surface should face down and be aligned with the printing port.
  3. If the issue persists, provide the printer's serial number (found on the printer box, starting with "Q") to Phomemo for assistance.

2. The Printed image is unclear/grainy

  1. Adjust the Print Density or contrast settings within the "Phomemo" application and try printing again.
  2. Clean the print head. Wipe the cutting part of the printer, especially the black line, with an alcohol cotton swab to remove any dirt.
  3. Ensure you are using Official Thermal paper. Printing results with third-party paper cannot be guaranteed and may cause damage to the print head.
  4. Poor printing often results from unclear source files. Try printing a template from the "Phomemo" application and send a photo of the printed template to Phomemo for review.

3. The Printed image is too dark

  1. In the "Print image" section of the app, experiment with different brightness settings. Click "Print" to preview the image and select the most suitable brightness for printing.
  2. Image print quality is directly related to the original image. Verify if your original image is too dark. You can also try printing a template from the "Phomemo" application to check the print quality.

Moisture in the paper can also affect print quality; ensure you are using normal Thermal Paper.

Charging Problems

  1. Charging with a 5V-2A adapter takes approximately 2 hours for a full charge. Charging with a computer or an adapter below 2A will extend the charging time.
  2. The printer can be used while charging, but it is recommended to use it after a full charge for optimal print quality and longer operation.

Other Settings

  1. Automatic Shutdown Setting: From the app's main interface, click the upper right corner to access the printer connection interface, then select your personal device to view and adjust this setting.
  2. Device Power Viewing: From the app's main interface, click the upper right corner to enter the printer connection interface, then select your personal device to view the power status.
  3. Printing Color: The M08F Printer is compatible with both normal thermal paper and tattoo transfer paper. Prints on normal thermal paper will be black, while prints on tattoo transfer paper will be dark blue.
  4. No Remote Control Support: Phomemo printers connect via Bluetooth and do not support Wi-Fi remote connections. Printer usage is therefore limited by Bluetooth distance.
