Camera Details
LED: Indicates status.
Nigth Vision: Infrared LEDs for low-light visibility.

NVR Details
PoE Video Input: Ports for connecting PoE cameras.

System Connection
Important: Please test the camera before installation.
- Connect Cameras to NVR box by CAT5e Ethernet Cable provided.
- Connect NVR box to TV monitor via HDMI cable provided.
- Connect NVR box to Network via Ethernet cable provided.
- Connect NVR’s mouse and power on the NVR by original power adapter.
System Wizard
1. To exit the system wizard, click “No more hints”.
2. The mobile app name is “XMeye”. You can scan the provided QR code to download it or search for it in Google Play/App Store.
System Login
1. The default password is blank (no password).
2. If you do not wish to set a “Security Question”, reboot the NVR by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Internet Connection
- Connect the NVR box to your Router via a Network Cable.
- Right-click the mouse, navigate to Main Menu > Network > Enable DHCP.
- Go to “Net Service”. If “Cloud Status” shows “online”, the NVR is online and ready for remote access.
If “Cloud Status” shows “Probing DNS”, reboot the NVR device. If the problem persists, contact the vendor.
How to Setup Video Record?
24/7 Video Record
Navigate to Main Menu > Record Conf.
Tips:
- You can customize the recording schedule as needed.
- The default setting is for Channel 1. Click “Advanced” > “Copy” to apply settings to other channels.
Motion Detect Recording
Navigate to Main Menu > Alarm > Intelligent Alert > Tick “Enable”.
Tips:
- The device will only record when motion is detected.
- To receive mobile alerts, ensure “Mobile Reported” is ticked.
- The default setting is for Channel 1. Click “Advanced” > “Copy” to apply settings to other channels.
How to Playback Video?
- Right-click the mouse and click “Playback”, or navigate to Main Menu > Playback.
- Select the Channel, Period, and Date, then click “OK”.
Legend:
Green: Regular Recording
Red: Alarm Recording
How to Backup Video?
- Insert your USB Device into the NVR’s USB port.
- Right-click the mouse, navigate to Main Menu > System > Backup.
- The NVR will detect available USB devices. Click “Backup”. If your USB Device is not shown, click “Detect”.
- Select Record Type > Select Channel > Set the Time > Click Add.
- Select the video Files > Choose Backup format > Start.
Choose “MP4” for compatibility with most video players.
Add New Camera or Replace Defective Camera
- Connect the camera to the NVR box via Ethernet cable. Ensure both camera and NVR are powered on.
- Right-click the mouse > Quick Set. (The NVR usually configures automatically).
- If the camera is still not connected, add it manually:
- a) Click “Search”. The NVR will search for cameras within the same IP segment. Select the new camera’s IP address.
- b) Select an empty channel for the new camera (e.g., #5), then click “Add”.
- c) After successful configuration, click “Apply” to save settings, then click “Exit”.
Restore to Factory Setting
Navigate to Main Menu > Advanced > Restore. Tick “Select all” and click “OK”.

Remote Access on Mobile Device
Download the mobile app “XMeye” from “Google Play” or “App Store”.
XMeye iOS Android
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register an account with your email.
- Click “+” to add a device > Advanced.
- Device Name: Name your device as you like.
- Serial Number: Click the “Scan” icon to scan the NVR’s QR Code. (Navigate to Main Menu > Advanced > Version).
- User Name: admin
- Password: Enter your NVR login password.
Remote Access on PC Client
Contact the vendor for the PC Client download link and video instructions.
- Download and install the PC Client “VMS”.
- Keep the default User Name and Password. Click “SIGN IN”.
- Navigate to “Device Manager”.
- Manual Add:
- Device Name: Name your device as you like.
- Serial Number: Click the “Scan” icon to scan the NVR’s QR Code. (Navigate to Main Menu > Advanced > Version).
- User Name: admin
- Password: Enter your NVR login password.
- Navigate to Home > Live View.

Q1. What’s the warranty?
All Hiseeu products come with a 2-year warranty. For any difficulties, please contact the vendor.
Q2. How to modify NVR password?
Navigate to Main Menu > System > Account > Modify Password.
Q3. What should I do if I forget my password?
Click “Forget Password” > “Forget Answer”. You will receive a “CAPTCHA” QR code. Open the “XMeye” mobile app, click the “+” icon > “Forget Your Device Password (FIND PWD)”. Scan the “CAPTCHA” QR code to get a super passcode. Use this passcode to log in and modify your password. (If the device asks for the old password, leave it blank).
Q4. How to find my NVR’s serial number?
Navigate to Main Menu > Advanced > Version.
Q5. How to change my camera’s name?
Navigate to Main Menu > System > Display > Channel Title “Set”.
Q6. What if the hard drive is full?
The hard drive will overwrite itself when it is full. You can also format the hard drive by navigating to Main Menu > Advanced > HDD info > Format.
Q7. How to get motion alerts on my phone?
Ensure “Motion Detect” is set up correctly and “Mobile Report” is enabled (Refer to Motion Detect Recording on Page 07). Open the “XMeye” mobile app, navigate to Alarm > Alarm Push > Enable “Allow Notifications”.
Q8. What should I do if I get too many push notifications from the App?
Navigate to Main Menu > Alarm > Intelligent Alert. Customize “Sensitivity”, “Region”, and “Period” settings to reduce unnecessary alerts by setting them for specific areas and times.
