Important Safety Notice
Precautions
- Consult a physician prior to commencing an exercise program.
- Always keep children and pets away from the machine. Do not leave children unattended. The cabling and moving parts can cause serious injury or death if used improperly. ⚠️ WARNING: Injuries to health may result from incorrect or excessive training.
- Never allow children on selectorized strength equipment (unless designed for children) and supervise use by individuals aged 13 to 17.
- Only one person at a time should use the machine.
- If the user experiences dizziness, nausea, chest pain, or any other abnormal symptoms, STOP the workout at once. CONSULT A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY.
- Position the machine on a clear, leveled surface. Indoor use only. Do not use the machine near water or outdoors.
- Keep hair, body, and clothing free and clear of all moving parts.
- Always wear appropriate workout clothing. Do not wear robes or other loose clothing that could become caught. Running or training shoes are required.
- Use the machine only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Never use the machine for support during stretching or to attach resistance straps, ropes, or other means unless allowed by the manufacturer.
- Do not place any sharp objects around the machine.
- Disabled persons should not use the machine without a qualified person or physician in attendance.
- Always do stretching exercises to properly warm up before exercising.
- Inspect the machine before use, including ropes, belts, or chains and their connections. Do not use if the machine or any component is worn, damaged, or inoperable.
- The Centr 2 Functional Trainer is designed for home use only (Class H). This means:
- Only one person may use the machine at a time.
- Ensure no other person is in the exercise area.
- Others in the room must maintain a distance of at least 5 ft / 1.5 meters from the equipment.
- After use, secure the device to prevent unauthorized access.
- Ensure the weight pin is completely inserted. Never pin the weight stack or top plate in an elevated position. Use only manufacturer-provided resistance means.
Care and Maintenance
- Inspect and tighten all parts before using the machine.
- The Frame and Seat Pad can be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild non-abrasive detergent. DO NOT use solvents.
- Replace damaged or worn upholstery immediately.

Decal Placement
Various warning and information decals are placed on the equipment. Key decals include:
- General Warning Decal: Located on the main frame, this decal warns about using genuine Centr replacement parts, the risk of injury, and the importance of following safety rules. It includes safety instructions in English, French, and Spanish.
- Maximum User Weight Decal: Indicates the maximum user weight is 136 kg / 300 lb.
- Consumer Use Only Decal: Specifies the equipment is for consumer use only.
- Pinch Point Warning Decals: Alert users to potential pinch points on moving parts.
- Caution Decal (Bench): Advises ensuring the pop-pin is fully engaged when folding or unfolding the bench.
- Maximum Weight Capacity Decal (Bench): States the total weight capacity of the bench is 227 kg / 500 lb.
Always read and adhere to all warning labels.
Functional Trainer Assembly Instructions
NOTE: Please remove nut and washer from bolt, prior to assembling.
Do not tighten nuts and bolts until instructed.

Assembly Steps:
Step 1: Frame Assembly
- Connect the Vertical Center Post (#4) to the Right and Left Stations (#1 & #2).
- Secure the horizontal bottom using M10x130 Bolts (#41), M10 Washers (#25), and M10 Nuts (#24).
- Install the Vertical Bottom M10x25 Bolts (#20), M10 Lock Washers (#23), and M10 Washers (#25).
- Secure the horizontal top using M10x95 Bolts (#42), M10 Washers (#25), and M10 Nuts (#24).
- Install the Vertical Top M10x25 Bolts (#20), M10 Lock Washers (#23), and M10 Washers (#25).
- Install the Pull Up Bar (#3) using M10x25 Allen Bolts (#20), M10 Lock Washers (#23), and M10 Washers (#25).
- Tighten all nuts and bolts installed in this step.
Step 2: Weight Stack and Pulleys
- Install Guide Rods (#7) to the Frame using M10x80 Bolt (#18) and M10 Washers (#25). Tighten all.
- Install Rubber Bumpers (#16) onto the Guide Rods (#7).
- Load 15 Weight Plates (#10) onto the Guide Rods (#7), ensuring the weight sticker cut-out faces inwards and the pads face downwards.
- Remove pre-installed M10x20 Bolts (#21), M10 Spring Washers (#23), and Ø10 Washers (#25) from the Guide Rod Bracket (#6).
- Slide the Selector Stem Assembly (#8) onto the Guide Rods (#7).
- Install the weight stack Pulley (#33) with the cable wrapped between the pulley and the U-shaped bracket (#31). Insert Cam Bolt (#32) and secure with a M10 Washer (#25) and M10 Nut (#24).
- Hold the Selector Stem Assembly (#8) above the weight stack and install the Guide Rod Bracket (#6) onto the Guide Rods (#7).
- Push up the Guide Rod Bracket (#6) into the upright.
- Fasten the Bracket using M10x20 Bolts (#21), M10 Lock Washers (#23), and M10 Washers (#25).
- Lower the Selector Stem down onto the top of the weight stack.
- Check all cables to ensure they are on track on the pulleys.
- Install weight number stickers (#26), starting with Number 1 on the selector stem weight.
- Install the Weight Pin (#9) into the weight stack.
- Lubricate the Guide Rods with provided lube.
- Adjust cable tension by loosening and rotating the Cam Bolt (#32) until the Selector Stem Assembly (#8) lifts slightly from the weight stack. Tighten the nut of the cam bolt to lock its position.
- Repeat this step for the opposite side.
Step 3: Shrouds and Logos
- Install Bracket (#34) into fabric shrouds 1, 2, 3 (#36, 37, 38).
- Install Bracket (#35) into the bottom of fabric shrouds 1, 2 (#36, 37).
- Secure the top side first with M8x15 Bolt (#39) and M8 Washer (#40), then bolt the bottom bracket. Repeat for the right side.
- Install Logo Plates (#5) to the top of the shrouds.
Step 4: Accessories and Final Touches
- Install the Tablet Holder, securing it with an M6x75mm bolt (#28), M6 Locknut (#30), and M6 Washers (#29).
- Install accessory brackets (#43, #44) to the center tube using M10x70 bolts (#19), M10 Washers (#25), and M10 Nuts (#24).
- Store the Curl Bar (#12) and Rope (#11) on the Hanger Bracket behind the Upper Cross Brace (#4).
- Hang the Chin Up Belt (#14) on the Upper Cross Brace (#4).
