Product Usage Instructions

Setup and Initial Use:
Before using the cordless kettle, ensure to read the entire manual for safety and operational instructions.

Filling and Starting the Kettle:

• Open the lid (2) using the lid opening button (3) to fill the kettle with water.
• Close the lid securely after filling the kettle.
• Place the kettle on the power base (6) and ensure it is on a flat, stable, and dry surface.
• Plug in the power base and switch on the kettle using the switch (7).

Temperature Control and Operation:

• Select desired temperature using the function button (8).
• The temperature display (11) will indicate when the water has reached the set temperature.
• The kettle will automatically switch to standby mode if no operation is performed within 1 minute.

Maintaining Temperature:

• To maintain a specific temperature, press the function button (8).
• Removing the kettle from the base will reset the temperature settings.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use, please thoroughly read the entire manual. It is recommended to keep this instructions manual for future reference.

1. The connection cable of the power supply cradle must be connected to a socket equipped with a protective pin as specified in the instructions.
2. The appliance must always be disconnected from the mains by pulling the plug and not the power cord.
3. Care should be taken not to include too many appliances in one current circuit.
4. Do not use outdoors.
5. Do not place the appliance near heat sources.
6. Place the unit on a stable and dry surface.
7. Make sure there is water in the kettle before switching it on. Do not start the kettle without water.
8. Do not pour above the maximum level on the kettle indicator. If the kettle is overfilled, there is a risk of uncontrolled outflow of hot water to the outside (risk of flooding the electrical connections and short-circuiting).
9. Switch off the appliance from the mains when it is no longer in use and before cleaning.
10. Do not move or shift during use.
11. Do not fill the jug placed on the base.
12. This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical and mental capabilities and persons with inexperience and lack of knowledge of the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment in a safe manner so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment.
13. Do not leave the equipment unattended.
14. A kettle plugged in or containing hot water left unattended can be dangerous to children.
15. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
16. Do not immerse the kettle in water when washing.
17. The kettle may only be used with the original base attached.
18. Beware of hot steam coming out of the jug during cooking.
19. Equipment for domestic use only, in the event of industrial operation, not in accordance with the intended use or contrary to these instructions, the seller will not accept any responsibility and warranty rights will lapse.
20. If the power cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced at the Manufacturer’s Service Centre to prevent danger. List of services in the appendix and at www.eldom.eu.
21. Repairs to the equipment may only be carried out by an authorized service centre. Any modernization or use of other than original spare parts or components of the appliance is forbidden and endangers the safety of use.

INTENDED USE
The C505 wireless kettle is intended for boiling water. It is fitted with the function of temperature control and hold. The capacity of the kettle allows to boil 0.5–1.0 l of water. The maximum water level is indicated on the indicator (12) and the minimum is inside the tank (5).

USE

NOTES. Before using the jug for the first time, boil the water 2-3 times and pour out.

• All setting changes are confirmed by a beep.
• Place the base of the appliance (6) on a flat, stable and dry surface. There is space in the base for the excess cable. It is important that the cable is routed out of the base (6) through the special groove so that the unit stands firmly.
• Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the data on the unit’s rating plate corresponds to the mains parameters.
• The appliance should be filled when the lid (2) is opened. The lid is opened using the button (3). Close the lid by pressing lightly until it audibly snaps shut.
• Do not fill the kettle when standing on the base.
• After placing the kettle on the base connected to the power supply, the display (11) will be illuminated. If no operation is performed within 1 minute, the kettle will automatically enter standby mode.
• To start operation, press the button (7).
• The operation of the device is indicated by the illumination of the indicator light (9).
• Once the water has been heated to the set temperature, the illuminated indicators turn off after approximately 30 seconds.

Temperature control 

• The The kettle allows heating water to a set temperature.
• There are 5 preset programs (temperatures): 40°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C and 100°C.
• The device also allows maintaining the temperature for each selected value. Note: Removing the kettle from the base erases the settings.

OPERATION

• The kettle starts working when one of the stored programmes (10) is selected or the temperature is set.
• The operation of the appliance can be stopped at any time by switching it off with the by pressing the button (7).
• The kettle starts working by pressing the button (7) or by selecting one of the preset programs with the button (8).
• The operation of the device is indicated by the illumination of the indicator light (9).
• The kettle turns off automatically after the water boils.
• You can stop the operation of the device at any time by turning it off with the button (7).The operation of the appliance can be stopped at any time by switching it off by pressing the button (7).

Keep warm function 

• The keep warm function is available for each selected temperature.
• To activate the keep warm function, select the desired temperature with the button (8), then press and hold the button (8) until the indicator light (10) illuminates.
• After heating the water to the set temperature, the kettle will maintain the temperature for 2 hours.
• If the water temperature drops below the set value by approximately 5°C, heating will resume.

Note: Removing the kettle from the base erases the settings.

FILTER
The filter does not remove the scale, but it prevents any deposits from getting inside the kettle while the water is being poured in. The filter should be cleaned regularly. Hard water may block the filter after boiling water a couple of times.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up.
• The outside of the kettle may be wiped over with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid.
• Water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moisten with white vinegar; rinse the inside with water afterwards.
• limescale should be removed in the following way:
  • Fill the kettle with 0.75 litre of water and bring it to boil,
  • Switch the kettle off and disconnect the kettle from the power supply,
  • Pour 0.1l of vinegar into a jug and leave the solution for a few hours,
  • Discard the solution and rinse the inside with water,
  • Fill the kettle with 1 litre of water and bring to boil,
  • Discard the water and rinse the inside with water.
• Failure to descale the heating element results in accelerated wear of the kettle’s heating component.
• Damage resulting from the use of overly aggressive descaling agents available on the market is not covered by the kettle manufacturer’s warranty.
