Overview Introduction
The Tag integrates with Apple Find My network to provide a secure and user-friendly solution for tracking items, making it easy to locate keys, wallets, and more, with security and privacy at the forefront.
Smart Tag is designed for the convenience of users, simplifying daily life, allowing you to say goodbye to lost belongings and enjoy a peace of mind lifestyle.
- Power On
Tap the button once and hear 1 beep (1 tick). - Power Off
Press and hold the button (about 5s) to hear 3 prompt sounds (3 ticks) and release. - Factory Reset
Click 3 times in a row + long press the 4th time to hear a long beep tone. - How to Pair
Note:iOS or iPadOS version 14.5 or above.
- Place the Tag next to your Apple device like iPhone.
- Turn on bluetooth on iPhone and connect to Internet.
- Press the side button of the Smart Tag once to turn on the device.
- Open the ‘Find My’ app.
- In ‘Find My’ app, Tap ‘+’, then ‘Add Other ltem’. See Figure 1.
- Once your Tag is located, tap ‘connect ‘. See Figure 2.
- Inter a name and choose an emoji for your Tag and tap ‘Continue’. See Figure 3.
- Find My will ask for confirmation to add your Tag to your Apple ID. Tap ‘Agree’.
- Tap ‘Finish’ and your Tag will be set up and can be used.
Battery
The Smart Tag contains a CR2032 coin cell battery, during the product’s lifespan, it may be necessary to replace the battery. And you should pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes of the battery.
Battery Replacement
- Rotate counterclockwise to open the back cover.
- Replace a new battery.
- Turn clockwise to close the back cover.
Additional Tips
- When the device is paired with the Find My app, the phone needs to be linked to the Apple server.
Pairing failures may occur due to network issues.
We recommend the following:- Change the cellular network, such as switching between WIFI and mobile networks;
- Factory reset the device;
- Re-pairing.
- To remove Smart Tag from your Apple device, open the Find My app, select”Items”, find the device, then scroll down and tap”Remove this device”.
- Battery life, related to personal usage habits, frequent use of the call function will accelerate battery drain.
Important Matters
The Tag contains delicate electronic , including a battery to avoid damage, loss of function, or potential harm. Please refrain from dropping, hitting, puncturing, crushing, disassembling, exposing it to extreme heat or liquids, or placing it in areas with a high concentration of industrial chemicals.
WARNING: Do not swallow the battery; There is a chemical burn hazard.
Choking Hazard Warning
The Smart Tag, its battery compartment door, the battery itself, and the case may pose a choking hazard or cause injury to small children. Please keep these items out of reach of young children.
Medical Device Interference
The Smart Tag contains components and radios that emit electromagnetic fields, as well as magnets. These elements may potentially interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices. To ensure safety, maintain a safe distance between your medical device and the Smart Tag. We strongly advise consulting your physician and the manufacturer of your medical device for information that is specific to your situation. If you suspect that the Smart Tag is interfering with your pacemaker defibrillator or any other medical device, discontinue its use immediately.
Important Handling Guidelines
Its normal for the Smart Tag to show discoloration with regular use. To clean it, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid applying pressure with sharp objects on the rubber seal or the battery terminal contacts inside the device.
Do not allow moisture to enter any openings or use aerosol sprays, solvents or abrasive materials to clean the device.
