The cooling fan typically runs briefly on startup and activates automatically when the internal temperature reaches 50°C (122°F). You can use Silent Mode to turn the fan off manually, but brightness will automatically be limited to protect the light from overheating.
While the light is on, briefly press the MAX button to engage Boost/MAX mode for higher output (e.g., up to 200W on the PL-200BAC). Press it again to return to standard dimming mode. Note that battery charging may be restricted when operating heavily in MAX mode.
