MidTen support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I turn on my MidTen laser bore sight?
Most MidTen bore sights do not have an on/off switch. The laser activates automatically when you insert the included batteries and fully tighten the battery cap. To turn the unit off, simply unscrew the cap and remove the batteries completely.
-
What should I do if my MidTen bore sight gets stuck in the chamber?
If the bore sight becomes stuck due to a tight chamber or carbon buildup, DO NOT force it by continually racking the bolt. Instead, insert a non-metal cleaning rod from the muzzle end of the barrel and gently push the unit out.
-
How do I clean the lens on my MidTen bore sight or optic?
Use a dry, soft cotton swab or a clean microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens aperture. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents, ammonia-based cleaners, or degreasers, as these can easily damage the lens coating and internal electronics.
-
Are MidTen bore sights safe to use in my firearm?
Yes, MidTen chamber-type bore sights are crafted from premium solid brass. This softer metal is designed to protect your firearm’s chamber and rifling from any scratches or damage during the zeroing process.
