It is recommended to use a 12-volt Deep Cycle battery or Marine battery with at least a 50-ampere hour rating. For 86 LBS models requiring 24V, you will need two 12V batteries connected in series.
The electric fireplace remote control uses a standard CR2025 battery. Follow the diagram on the back of the remote handset to install the new battery.
