2. Package Contents

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your water fountain for use:

1. Clean Components: Before first use, thoroughly rinse the clean water tank, wastewater tank, and stainless steel drinking tray with mild soap and water. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth (do not submerge the main unit in water).

4. Operating Modes

The HAPAW P003 offers two operating modes and flexible power options:

• Mode 1: Continuous Flow Mode
  When plugged into a power source, the fountain will continuously circulate water. This mode is ideal for encouraging pets to drink more frequently. Note: The machine cannot be turned off when continuously plugged in.
• Mode 2: Sensor-Activated Flow Mode
  When operating on battery power, the fountain will activate when a pet approaches within 1-1.5 meters, dispensing water for 1 minute. This conserves battery life, allowing it to last over 15 days on a single charge. Continuous flow is disabled in battery mode.

Power Options:

• Plugged-in: For continuous operation and charging.

Automatic Drainage:

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Daily Check: Monitor the water levels in both tanks daily. Refill the clean water tank as needed.
2. Weekly Cleaning (Tanks & Tray): Rinse the clean water tank, wastewater tank, and stainless steel drinking tray with mild soap and water. It is recommended to clean the circulatory system fittings and water tank once a week.
3. Main Unit: The main unit is not water washable. Wipe it down with a damp cloth to clean.
4. Sponge Maintenance: The black sponge is reusable. Rinse it regularly to remove trapped hair and food particles. Replace the sponge every 3 months or as needed.
5. Water Level Probes: Pet saliva or oil may cover the water level probes and cause malfunctions (e.g., noise or no water flow). If this happens, wipe the metal probes with a dry paper towel.
