2.2 SIM Card and MicroSD Card Installation
The Blackview Fort 5 supports Dual SIM cards and expandable storage via a MicroSD card. Follow these steps to install your cards:
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano SIM cards and/or MicroSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure they are correctly oriented.
- Carefully push the tray back into the device until it is flush with the side.

2.3 First Power On and Basic Configuration
Press and hold the power button until the Blackview logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account setup. The device runs on Android 16 with the DokeOS 5.0 interface.

5. Troubleshooting Common Issues

- Device Unresponsive: Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
- App Crashing: Close the problematic app and reopen it. If the issue persists, clear the app's cache or reinstall it.
- Poor Network Connection: Check your SIM card installation. Try toggling airplane mode on and off. Ensure you are within network coverage.
- Battery Draining Quickly: Review app usage in battery settings. Reduce screen brightness, disable unnecessary features like GPS or Wi-Fi when not in use, and activate power-saving mode.
- Software Glitches: Ensure your device's software is up to date. Go to Settings > System > System update to check for and install any available updates.
