This vertical mouse is designed to reduce wrist strain and enhance productivity with its multi-device connectivity and adjustable DPI settings.

3. Setup and Connection

The TECKNET TK-MS063 mouse offers three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless via USB receiver, Bluetooth 5.3, and Bluetooth 3.0. It supports seamless switching between up to three devices.

3.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the mouse's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status.

A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours and provides up to 3 months of use (based on 2 hours of daily use). The LED indicator will flash when the battery is low.

3.2 2.4GHz Wireless Connection (USB Receiver)

  1. Locate the USB-A receiver stored in the compartment on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB-A receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch located on the bottom.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. If not, press the Bluetooth pairing button once to switch to 2.4G mode (indicated by a specific LED flash, refer to LED indicator section).

3.3 Bluetooth Connection (BT5.3 / BT3.0)

The mouse supports two Bluetooth channels (BT1 and BT2) for connecting to different devices.

  1. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the bottom of the mouse for 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing rapidly (e.g., blue for BT1, green for BT2). This indicates pairing mode.
  3. On your device (laptop, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select "TECKNET Mouse" or a similar name from the list of available devices.
  5. Once connected, the LED indicator on the mouse will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds before turning off.
  6. To connect a second Bluetooth device, repeat steps 2-5, but press the Bluetooth pairing button to switch to the other Bluetooth channel (BT2) before holding it down for pairing.

4. Operation

4.1 Switching Between Devices

To switch between connected devices (2.4G, BT1, BT2), simply press the Bluetooth pairing button on the bottom of the mouse. The LED indicator will briefly light up to show which channel is active.

4.2 Adjusting DPI Sensitivity

The mouse features 6 adjustable DPI levels: 800, 1200, 1600, 2400, 3200, and 4800 DPI. Press the DPI switch button (located behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through the sensitivity settings. The LED indicator will flash a corresponding number of times to indicate the current DPI level:

  • 1 flash: 800 DPI
  • 2 flashes: 1200 DPI
  • 3 flashes: 1600 DPI
  • 4 flashes: 2400 DPI
  • 5 flashes: 3200 DPI
  • 6 flashes: 4800 DPI

4.3 Ergonomic Design and Silent Clicks

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life. Store it in a cool, dry place.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the mouse when the low battery indicator flashes. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.

6. Troubleshooting

Cursor movement is erratic or imprecise
  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
  • Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective surface or a mouse pad.
  • Adjust the DPI sensitivity using the DPI switch button.
Cannot connect via Bluetooth
  • Ensure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode (LED flashing rapidly).
  • Make sure your device's Bluetooth is on and discoverable.
  • Remove any previous pairings of the mouse from your device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • Ensure you are selecting the correct Bluetooth channel (BT1 or BT2) on the mouse.
Side buttons not working on macOSThis is a known compatibility limitation. The forward/backward side buttons are not supported on macOS.
