This countertop ice maker is designed to produce up to 55 pounds of chewable nugget ice per day, featuring rapid ice release and a convenient self-cleaning function. Its large water tank and ice basket capacity ensure a continuous supply of ice for various needs.

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your ice maker, follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or performing maintenance.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 5 inches of clearance on all sides.
  • Use only potable water.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.

4.2 Placement

Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation (at least 5 inches) around the unit for optimal performance.

4.3 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, it is recommended to clean the ice maker. Fill the water tank with clean water and initiate the self-cleaning cycle (refer to Section 6.1). Drain the water after the cycle is complete.

4.4 Filling the Water Tank

Open the lid and pour potable water into the water tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. The unit will indicate 'Add Water' when the water level is low.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the 'Power' button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Ice Making Process

Once powered on and with sufficient water, the 'Making Ice' indicator will illuminate. The unit will begin producing nugget ice, with rapid ice release in approximately 5 minutes. The ice maker operates on an automatic continuous cycle.

5.3 Indicator Lights

  • Making Ice: Illuminates when the unit is actively producing ice.
  • Ice Full: Illuminates when the ice basket is full. The unit will pause ice production until ice is removed.
  • Add Water: Illuminates when the water tank needs refilling. The unit will pause ice production until water is added.

Note: This ice maker does not have a refrigeration function for storing ice long-term. It is recommended to transfer ice to a freezer for storage.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.

6.1 Self-Cleaning Function

To activate the self-cleaning cycle, fill the water tank with clean water and press and hold the 'Clean' button for 3 seconds. The unit will perform an internal cleaning cycle. After the cycle, drain the water.

6.2 Regular Cleaning

  • Internal: For thorough cleaning, especially to remove limescale, use a descaling solution or a mixture of water and vinegar. Run the self-cleaning cycle with the solution, then rinse thoroughly by running several cycles with clean water.
  • External: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ice Basket & Scoop: Wash with mild soap and water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

6.3 Draining Water

To drain the water from the unit, locate the drain plug at the bottom of the ice maker. Place a container beneath the plug, then remove the plug to allow water to drain completely. Reinsert the plug firmly after draining.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ice maker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
