3. Setup

3.1 Connectivity Modes

The Redragon K761 supports three connection modes:

  1. USB-C Wired Mode: Connect the keyboard directly to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. This mode also charges the keyboard.
  2. 2.4GHz Wireless Mode: Insert the 2.4Ghz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard will automatically connect.
  3. Bluetooth (BT 3.0/5.0) Mode:
    • Turn on the keyboard and switch to Bluetooth mode.
    • On your device (PC, laptop, tablet), search for Bluetooth devices.
    • Select "Redragon K761" from the list to pair.

3.2 Initial Charging

For optimal performance, fully charge the keyboard before first use. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and a power source. The 4000mAh battery provides long-lasting use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Smart Info-Island Screen

The 1.26-inch TFT screen displays essential information such as connection mode, battery level, and typing status. It also supports customized GIF images.

4.2 ONE-Knob Control

The multi-function knob allows for easy control of various settings:

  • Rotate: Adjust backlight brightness or media volume.
  • Press: Play/pause media or switch backlight modes.

4.3 Backlight Adjustment

  • FN + ▲ / ▼: Adjust backlight brightness.

4.4 Pro Software

Download the dedicated software from the Redragon website (redragonshop.com) to customize RGB lighting, create macros, redefine keybindings, and manage GIF displays on the info screen. The on-screen time will automatically synchronize with your PC's system time upon the software's initial launch.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, power it off and disconnect it. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For deeper cleaning, use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the keyboard.

5.2 Keycap and Switch Replacement

The Redragon K761 features hot-swappable sockets, allowing for easy replacement of switches. Use the provided keycap/switch puller to carefully remove keycaps and switches. Ensure replacement switches are compatible (3/5 pins).
