• Do not use pins or other metallic objects with this product.

Note: Queen, King, and California King sizes include two individual controllers.

Setup Instructions

1. Prepare Your Bed: Ensure your mattress is clean and dry.
2. Position the Mattress Pad: Place the Serta Multi-Zone Heated Mattress Pad directly on top of your mattress. Ensure the pad is centered and evenly spread.
3. Secure the Pad: The pad features a 15-inch deep poly skirt with a 360° elastic edge. Stretch the skirt over the corners and sides of your mattress to ensure a snug and secure fit. This design accommodates mattresses up to 17 inches high.
4. Connect the Controller: Locate the connection port on the mattress pad, typically positioned at the foot end. This port is designed to be tucked beneath the mattress surface for uninterrupted comfort. Carefully align the arrows on the controller's connector with the arrows on the pad's port and push firmly until it clicks into place.
5. Plug into Power: Plug the controller's power cord into a standard 120V/60Hz wall outlet. Do not use power strips, extension cords, or splitters.

Operating Instructions

Your Serta Multi-Zone Heated Mattress Pad features an intuitive controller for personalized comfort.

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button (U) to turn the mattress pad on or off.
2. Adjust Body Heat: Use the 'BODY +' and 'BODY -' buttons to select your desired heat level for the upper body zone. There are 10 heat settings available.
3. Adjust Feet Heat: Use the 'FEET +' and 'FEET -' buttons to select your desired heat level for the foot zone. There are 10 heat settings available. This allows for independent temperature control, keeping your feet warmer if desired.
4. Set Auto Shut-Off Timer: Press the timer button (CLOCK ICON) to cycle through the 1-12 hour auto shut-off options. The pad will automatically turn off after the selected duration.

Note: For Queen, King, and California King sizes, two controllers are provided, allowing each side of the bed to have independent body and feet temperature adjustments.

Care and Maintenance

The Serta Multi-Zone Heated Mattress Pad is designed for easy care.

1. Detach Controllers: Always ensure all controllers are detached from the mattress pad before washing.
2. Washing: Machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water with minimal detergent.
3. Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly.
4. Drying: Remove immediately after the spin cycle. You may hang to dry or tumble dry on low or medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove damp bedding from the dryer, gently stretch and straighten any bent or twisted wires to preserve shape and functionality, then hang to finish drying.
5. Do Not Bleach or Iron: Do not use bleach or iron the mattress pad.
6. Storage: When storing, do not compress it or put anything on top of it. Rolling the mattress rather than folding it is recommended to prolong the life of your electric blanket.

Troubleshooting

Refer to the following common issues and solutions:

• Q: Why is my light blinking?
  A: Unplug and reconnect the controller to try again. Make sure the controller is well connected. If it still doesn't work, please reach out directly to customer support.
• Q: My controller feels warm to the touch: is this a problem?
  A: No. The control will feel warm (not hot) to the touch when functioning properly. Even when the controller is off, small amounts of electricity will cycle through it, which may make the controller warm.
• Q: Is there a special way I should store this at the end of the season?
  A: To prolong the life of your electric blanket, we recommend rolling the mattress rather than folding it. When storing it, do not compress it or put anything on top of it. Doing so can cause damage to the wires which could affect functionality.
• Q: I heard a pop and/or smell smoke. Is my blanket going to catch on fire?
  A: This is not a dangerous situation, but it can/will affect the functionality of the product. This most likely means that the fuse in the controller has blown for safety reasons and the product has been disabled. Please contact us.
• Q: Can I plug it into a power strip, extension cord or splitter?
  A: We do not recommend using a power strip, extension cord or splitter.
