Setup Instructions

The COBIZI 10x20 Pop Up Canopy Tent is designed for easy setup by 2 to 4 people without tools.

1. Unfolding the Frame

Place the folded frame in the desired location. With a person at each end, slowly pull the frame outwards until it is partially open.

2. Attaching the Canopy Cover

Drape the canopy cover over the partially opened frame. Secure the corners of the canopy to the frame legs using the attached fasteners.

3. Extending the Frame and Locking Poles

Continue to pull the frame outwards until it is fully extended. Engage the locking mechanisms on the frame's corners and center to secure the roof structure. The thumb-lock system is designed for finger protection.

4. Adjusting Height

The canopy features three adjustable height settings (center height: 9.84 ft, 10.17 ft, 10.5 ft). Press the red thumb button on each leg and slide the leg to the desired height. Ensure all legs are adjusted to the same height for stability.

5. Attaching Sidewalls (Optional)

Attach the sidewalls using the hook-and-loop fasteners or zippers provided. There are four sidewalls with windows and two with zippers for flexible configuration.

6. Securing the Canopy

Use the provided ropes and stakes to anchor the canopy securely to the ground. Fill the sandbags and attach them to the legs for additional stability, especially in windy conditions.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Height

To adjust the height, ensure the canopy is not under tension. Press the red thumb button on each leg and carefully slide the inner leg up or down to the desired position. Ensure the button clicks into place at one of the three preset heights. Always adjust all legs evenly.

Using Sidewalls

The sidewalls can be attached or removed as needed. Use the zippered sidewalls for entry/exit points and the windowed sidewalls for light and visibility. Sidewalls can be rolled up and secured with straps for an open-air configuration.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the canopy cover and sidewalls with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as this may damage the fabric's waterproof and UV-protective coating. Allow all components to dry completely before storage to prevent mildew.

Storage

When not in use, disassemble the canopy and store all components in the provided carrying bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prolong the life of the fabric and frame.

Weather Precautions

The canopy is designed to provide shade and protection from light rain and wind. It is not intended for use in heavy rain, strong winds, or snow. Disassemble the canopy immediately if severe weather is anticipated.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty in Setup/Takedown

Ensure that the frame is fully extended or collapsed evenly. Check for any obstructions or misaligned parts. Lubricate moving joints if necessary.

Canopy Instability

Verify that all legs are set to the same height and that the locking mechanisms are fully engaged. Ensure ropes are taut, stakes are firmly in the ground, and sandbags are filled and attached to each leg.

Water Leakage

While the canopy is waterproof, prolonged heavy rain can lead to water accumulation and potential leaks. Ensure the canopy is taut to prevent water pooling. In heavy rain, it is recommended to take down the canopy.
