3. Setup

Connecting the Controller:

1. Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the port on the FILCO GRANPRO ITADAKI controller.
2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your gaming console or PC.
3. The controller will be automatically recognized by most systems. No additional drivers are typically required.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

The 18 buttons on the controller are pre-configured for standard fighting game layouts. Refer to your game's control settings for specific button assignments.

Tournament Lock Switch:

To prevent accidental presses of non-essential buttons during competitive play, utilize the tournament lock switch. Locate the switch on the top right side of the controller. Flipping this switch will disable certain buttons, typically those used for system functions or macros, ensuring only gameplay-critical inputs are active.

RGB Illumination:

SOCD Cleaning Mode:

The built-in SOCD (Simultaneous Opposite Cardinal Directions) cleaning ensures that conflicting directional inputs (e.g., Left + Right) are resolved according to tournament standards. 5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Wipe the controller surface with a soft, dry cloth.
• For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure no liquid enters the button gaps or USB port.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the surface.

Switch Replacement (Hot-Swap):

The FILCO GRANPRO ITADAKI supports hot-swappable Gateron Low Profile 3.0 switches, allowing you to easily replace switches without soldering.

1. Gently pull the button cap off the switch you wish to replace.
2. Use the provided key switch puller to carefully grip the top and bottom clips of the switch.
3. Pull the switch straight up to remove it from the socket.
4. Align the pins of the new Gateron Low Profile 3.0 switch with the holes in the socket.
5. Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks. Ensure it is seated correctly and not bent.
6. Replace the button cap.

6. Troubleshooting

Controller Not Responding:

• Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and your device (PC/console).
• Try connecting the controller to a different USB port.
• Test the controller on another device to rule out a device-specific issue.
• Restart your PC or console.

Buttons Not Registering:

• Check if the tournament lock switch is engaged. Disengage it if necessary.
• If a specific button is not working, the switch might be faulty or improperly seated. Try removing and re-inserting the switch using the hot-swap method described in the Maintenance section.
• Replace the faulty switch with one of the spare switches provided.

RGB Illumination Issues:

• Ensure the controller is powered on and connected.
