2. Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, read all instructions before using this appliance.

• Always plug the heater directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

4. Setup

4.1 Installation Methods

Your DUMOS electric fireplace offers three installation options:

1. Recessed: The unit can be built into a wall for a flush, integrated look. Ensure proper framing and ventilation clearances are maintained.
2. Wall-Mounted: The fireplace can be securely mounted directly onto a wall surface.
3. Freestanding: Attach the included base legs to the bottom of the unit for a portable, floor-standing setup.

4.2 Decorative Media Installation

To install the decorative crystals and logs:

1. Carefully remove the front glass panel of the fireplace.
2. Distribute the decorative crystals evenly across the ember bed.
3. Arrange the decorative logs on top of the crystals as desired.
4. Reattach the front glass panel securely.

5. Operating Instructions

The fireplace can be controlled using the included remote control or the touch screen panel on the unit.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

• POWER: Turns the unit On/Off.
• HEATER: Activates or deactivates the heating function. Cycles between 750W (Low) and 1500W (High) heat settings.
• BRIGHTNESS (DIMMER): Adjusts the brightness of the flame effect (6 levels).
• FLAME: Changes the flame color (13 options).
• CARBON BED: Changes the carbon bed color (13 options).
• SPEED: Adjusts the speed of the flame effect (5 settings).
• TEMP +/-: Adjusts the thermostat temperature from 59°F to 95°F (15°C to 35°C).
• TIMER: Sets the automatic shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours.
• LOCK (Child Lock): Engages or disengages the child lock feature to prevent accidental changes.
• SLEEP MODE: Activates slow flames and dim light for relaxation.

The touch screen panel on the fireplace unit provides access to most functions available on the remote control, including power, heat, flame color, carbon bed color, brightness, speed, temperature, and timer settings.

The fireplace offers 13 distinct flame colors and 13 carbon bed colors, allowing for 169 unique color combinations. A color cycle mode is also available, changing colors every 3 seconds for dynamic ambiance.
