2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

The adjustable differential feed system helps manage fabric stretching or gathering. Adjust the differential feed dial to prevent wavy seams on knits or puckering on fine fabrics. A setting of 1.0 is neutral. Settings above 1.0 will gather fabric, while settings below 1.0 will stretch it.
