2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

Before proceeding with the setup, please ensure all items are present in the package:

  • Bigme F7 Digital Photo Frame
  • User Manual (Quick Start Guide)
  • Support Feet for Frame Placement
  • Type-C Charging Cable

2.2 Physical Setup

The Bigme F7 frame offers versatile placement options:

  • Tabletop Placement: Insert the provided support feet into the designated holes on the back of the frame. The frame can be placed vertically or horizontally.
  • Wall Mounting: Utilize the two keyhole slots on the back of the frame to hang it on a wall. This allows for both horizontal and vertical orientation.

2.3 App Download & Account Registration

To manage your Bigme F7, download the dedicated mobile application:

  • For Android Users: Scan the QR code provided in the user manual with a browser to download the Bigme Photo Frame APK.
  • For iPhone Users: Search for "Bigme Photo Frame" in the App Store and install it.

After installation, register for an account. Note that one frame can only be bound to one account, but one account can manage multiple frames.

2.4 Connecting to Wi-Fi and Binding the Frame

Follow these steps to connect your frame to Wi-Fi and bind it to your account:

  1. Press and hold the power button on the frame for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The indicator light will alternate between red and green.
  2. In the app, select a Wi-Fi network (only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported).
  3. Enable your phone's location service.
  4. Connect to the Wi-Fi network and confirm. The app will automatically search for and connect to your Bigme F7.
  5. Once pairing is successful, the green light on the frame will stay on, and the bound F7 device will appear in the app.

If no operation is performed for 2 minutes during pairing, the frame will automatically shut down. To restart, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Uploading Photos and Videos

You can upload photos and short videos (up to 15 seconds) to your Bigme F7 frame using the mobile app:

  1. Open the Bigme Photo Frame app.
  2. Click the image icon to select pictures or videos from your phone's gallery.
  3. Adjust the angle, zoom in or out, and add captions or emojis as desired.
  4. Upload the selected images/videos. The frame will refresh to display the new content.

You can also invite friends and family to share photos directly to your frame by sending them a unique code from the app.

3.2 Display Settings

Customize your viewing experience through the frame's settings:

  • Slideshow Timer: Adjust the duration each photo is displayed.
  • Frame Background: Choose between blurred, black, or colored gradient backgrounds for vertical photos.
  • Show Clock/Weather: Enable or disable the display of time and local weather.
  • Sleep Mode: Schedule specific times for the frame to enter sleep mode, conserving battery and providing a dark environment.

3.3 Storage Options

In addition to cloud storage via the app, the frame supports local storage:

  • SD Card: Insert an SD card into the designated slot for expanded storage.
  • USB Port: Connect a USB drive to upload or manage media files.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Charging the Device

The Bigme F7 is equipped with a 1300mAh battery for extended operation. To charge:

  • Connect the Type-C charging cable to the port on the back of the frame.
  • While charging, the red indicator light will flash slowly.
  • When fully charged, the green indicator light will stay on. A full charge can maintain battery life for up to one year in sleep mode.

4.2 Cleaning and Care

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your frame:

  • Gently wipe the ePaper screen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen or frame finish.
  • Keep the device away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Bigme F7 Digital Photo Frame, consider the following:

  • Frame Not Turning On: Ensure the device is charged. Connect it to the Type-C charger and check if the indicator light responds. If unresponsive, try holding the power button for 8 seconds to force a restart.
  • Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Verify that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. Ensure your phone's location services are enabled during the binding process. Try restarting your Wi-Fi router and the frame.
  • Photos Not Uploading: Check your internet connection. Ensure the frame is properly bound to your app account. Verify that the image/video file format is supported by the app.
