Setup Guide
- Download the App: Search for the "MERCUSYS" app on your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and install it.
- Create an Account: Open the MERCUSYS app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Power On the Camera: Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the indicator light to flash, indicating it's ready for setup.
- Add Device: In the MERCUSYS app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select your camera model (MC210) from the list.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.
- Position the Camera: Place the camera on a flat surface or mount it to a wall or ceiling using the provided mounting plate and screws (if applicable). Ensure it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
Operating Instructions
Live View and Control
- Open the MERCUSYS app and select your MC210 camera to access the live view.
- Use the on-screen joystick or swipe gestures to pan and tilt the camera lens for full coverage.
Two-Way Audio
- Tap the microphone icon in the live view to speak through the camera's speaker.
- The camera's built-in microphone will capture audio from the camera's environment.
Recording and Playback
- Insert a microSD card (up to 512 GB, sold separately) into the camera's card slot for local storage.
- Configure recording settings (continuous, event-based) within the app.
- Access recorded footage via the app's playback feature.
Smart Detection and Alerts
- Enable motion detection, person detection, and baby cry detection in the app settings.
- Customize detection zones and sensitivity levels.
- Receive instant push notifications on your smartphone when an event is detected.
Night Vision
- The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions.
- Infrared LEDs provide clear black-and-white video up to 40 ft.
Voice Control Integration
- Link your MERCUSYS account with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant through their respective apps.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
- Camera Offline:
- Check if the camera is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is active and the camera is within range.
- Restart the camera by unplugging and replugging the power adapter.
- Verify your Wi-Fi password in the app settings.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The MC210 does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
- Move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router.
- Reset the camera (refer to the Quick Start Guide for reset instructions, usually a small button).
- Poor Video Quality:
- Check your internet connection speed.
- Clean the camera lens.
- Adjust video quality settings in the MERCUSYS app.
- No Audio/Two-Way Audio Issues:
- Ensure microphone and speaker permissions are granted to the MERCUSYS app on your phone.
- Check volume settings on your phone and within the app.
