7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your SMUG Adjustable Height Standing Desk, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Desk does not move. | Power cord disconnected; motor cable loose; control panel error. | Check power connection. Ensure all motor cables are securely plugged into the control box. Unplug the desk for 10 seconds, then plug it back in to reset. |
| Desk moves unevenly or makes unusual noise. | Overload; loose connections; obstruction. | Reduce weight on the desk. Check all assembly connections for tightness. Ensure no objects are obstructing the lifting columns. |
| LED display shows an error code (e.g., 'E01', 'E02'). | System error; motor fault; sensor issue. | Refer to the specific error code in the detailed manual (if provided separately) or perform a power cycle (unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug back in). If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Anti-collision system is too sensitive or not working. | Sensor calibration needed; obstruction. | Ensure no objects are constantly triggering the sensor. Some models allow sensitivity adjustment (refer to specific control panel instructions). If not, contact support. |
